As a woman who founded a large mining company, I dealt with discrimination for years. All I did was work like a demon to prove I was as good and better than my male peers. However, the DEI thing just cannot work in some sectors- strength and physique, technical aptitude, etc etc. Besides anything else, the DEI candidates will always be viewed as "unfairly advantaged", which in many cases is true. Lets just hire the best of the best, colour creed and gender should NEVER play a role.

As a woman who founded a large mining company, I dealt with discrimination for years. All I did was work like a demon to prove I was as good and better than my male peers. However, the DEI thing just cannot work in some sectors- strength and physique, technical aptitude, etc etc. Besides anything else, the DEI candidates will always be viewed as "unfairly advantaged", which in many cases is true. Lets just hire the best of the best, colour creed and gender should NEVER play a role.
