I have just watched through again. Thank you for the demonstration. I will, all being well, pick up my new car in two weeks. It has been a very very very long wait but hopefully it will be worth it.
Enjoying the car and the presentations you’ve done have been very useful. On the downside the left hand side of steering wheels are really defeating me. My use of cruise control is defo wrong. I think I’m resetting from scratch every time I use it within a single journey. As it only works when driving I’ve found experimenting with it tricky!!

I can 100% recommend the car I have the Advance if you can stretch to it it's well worth the extra. The performance is amazing considering how economical it is it's so comfortable and easy to drive too.
I wish there was wireless Android Auto.
Clearly the hardware is all there, maybe they will deliver it via software update.
Mine is coming soon. And now I know how to work it...maybe.
Just a small question about the doors locking, do they lock automatically as you pull away at say above a certain speed or do you have to lock them yourself every time? thanks.

Hi, Question please, if Honda says that Civic has 184HP, the cumulative power between the combustion engine and the electric motors, so really at a given moment when I want to accelerate or drift at that moment, are the 184hp guaranteed or does it depend on which engine is triggered? means what I have exactelly under my feet when i hit the accelerator? I hope my question is clear, sorry if not
Do the settings save for different keys? Sharing the partner with wife, does she have to adjust the windows every time after I use it ?
Honda should have added a electric boot release hope they can add one for me as I am disabled wheelchair user and the boot is to high to reach so when my car gets here in October my honda dealer will have to send it to get it adapted for me to use and hopefully they will put a electric boot release while fitting the accerator & brake can't wait for the car to arrive 🤞
I have a new crv hybrid with set up as the Civic can you stop the car leave it in drive or reverse and just switch off the power button mine seems to put it into park when you do this am I doing something wrong. This was the system I used in my Peugeot 3008 when shutting the engine off
One major flaw for me. I can't understand why, having fully electrical seats, especially on Advanced trim, the omission of memory seats. This is car that will be driven by dads and moms around the world and setting up for both every time one gets in the driver's seat couldn't be more of an hassle. Inconceivable on this day and age. In this case, you can't even coun't the clicks like on manual adjustable ones.
That's pretty much my only criticism to an otherwise amazing Honda product.

Picked a cancellation up yesterday, it’s an Elegance have my name down for the Advance and have been told at least 18 months 😬
@@IanB-uy1wh Was it a cancellation? I managed to get an Elegance cancellation but as yet the order book is still closed at my dealer. That said I am super happy with the Elegance !
@@forsdykemontague1017 Not sure why you've been told 18 months. Order bank re-opens in July. I know Honda in Hull have 2 grey Advance allocated for them that they are expecting in September (obv subject to change). Another dealership told me that they expect a 2-3 month for the first new orders once the bank reopens.
Does the Civic have a power boot and soft close doors? Your guided tour of the car was impressive however I don’t think mentioned those things.
I know you opened the boot towards the end of the video.
No power boot and no soft close doors if by 'soft close' you mean that doors close themself if they are not closed all the way.
does the car have synthetic leather seats on all 3 versions?

I just double checked and no it does not work with the Civic, it works with the Jazz, HR-V and Honda e! Sorry for misleading you. Don't let that stop you though! ;)

I'm currently averaging 57mpg after 1000 miles.
BE WARNED! Brake hold will only do so for about 30-45 seconds. It will then release and you will start creeping towards the car in front of you!
I've used the brake hold for a couple of days and didn't notice that time limit. Thanks anyway, I'll be cautious.
I can only imagine you inadvertently touched the accelerator. Honda's brake hold system will apply for 10 minutes. If you do not move within that time frame, it will apply the full parking brake automatically.

If you connect a phone and do not want to use Apple Car Play / Android auto it will sync your phone's contacts & control music.
