the “symphony for a genocide” composer he mentions at 13:18 is maurizio bianchi, aka m.b. he’s an industrial musician who doesn’t get nearly enough credit and i can definitely see his influence on ferraro’s more industrial-esque early works.
A lot of creative types are like that, just look at earl sweatshirt, his lyrics are fucking poetry but his interviews are almost incomprehensible, even though he really is saying interesting things under it all

citrac is a vinyl-only reissue that compiles most of postremo mundus techno-symposium, an excerpt of liquid metal, and wired tribe (which idk if that got its own album release). he was probably just referring to that general period of his work that was captured in citrac, but then had some more things to say about liquid metal in specific.

Dude his vocabulary is way fucking smaller than i couldve anticipated
His speech patterns are really stunted and dumb which is weird because james ferraro is one of the greatest artists and musicians of the 21st century
He talks like hes making up everything as he goes on which is weird because everything he talks about actually happened
Everything hes talking about is so interesting that I am still captivated thats the crazy part
I think this is the main reason why he makes so much music. It's easier for him to express himself this way than by using words
