THE BAD POINTS TO WINTER COMMUTING ON A MOTORBIKE

So, its official the weather has changed and its dam cold, and I am now experiencing what its like to be on the bike this time of year.
I recommend the following:
Neck Buff
Heated Gloves
Winter Jacket with thermal lining
Over trousers with thermal lining
Good clothes underneath
Make sure you wear High Vis stuff
BEEN SAFE BE SEEN!!!!

Shaving foam on you visor, let dry they wipe off; stops your visor steaming up 👍🏻

The worst for me is visibility in the winter when it’s cold, dark and raining . A pin lock didn’t work for me so I ride with my visor slightly cracked open and soap on the inside .

Trying to ride every day if I can. I live in Queensland Australia, so is not that cold, the problem I find though is dealing with the rain, when it rains here is really heavy... and the rain suit is a pain

Nice! I would love to ride everyday but we get cold winters and dark foggy mornings which can make it unsafe.. I hate rain 😂

Just thinking about your point of wiggling the bike to make the headlight more visible.
Some drivers may mistake this for you flashing them out, but I can see the idea

Yeah this is true, i think moving from side to side if done smoothly won't cause to much of a flash effect. But yes, it's definitely a solid point, thanks.

The winter sun is lower in the sky so cars can't see clearly when driving towards the sun. Just a tip an experienced biker told me😊

Most people don’t scrap the windows. Don’t turn rear heated window on - don’t crack the windows. Car 🚘 s steamed up with very limited vision.

Ceramic coat your lid and the droplets or rain will fly off.
