what do you call that culture medium where you cloned recombinant dna? It has ideal temperature ph and etc.I just cant figure out it well it's kinda difficult for me to understand the term. I think I am hearing it the wrong way. thank u

Can I ask what happens to the donor once the gene is cut off?
I'm pretty sure nothing really happens. The gene is just re-created by the proteins and the DNA in the donor organism.
