Props to Lowry for actually able to split the D between KG and D Will. After looking at this replay, I see that at 0:07 of this video Pierce had his back against the ball passer and Derozan was right under the basket, a more risky and unconventional play would have been a quick pass to Derozan for an easy alley oop or a fast 2 points, that would have gave them a one point advantage and left the Nets with approximately only 4 to 5 seconds which was not enough time to bring the ball all the way up to generate a good shot, remember Livingston used their last timeout and they had no timeout remaining. But it's kind of late and there's no what ifs, overall I think they struggled and didn't make the 3s when they were supposed to, foul troubles and didn't go to the FT line enough, not to mention they had trouble defending Joe Johnson for the entire series. Lets just hope the Raps can get stronger, and do better next season.

Management gutted the team defensively after these playoffs and what we had last year was a team that could dazzle on offense but couldn't defend for shit. The Raptors shone during the regular season because they played in a weak division in the weaker conference. We went into the playoffs thinking we could do the same thing against a team we'd swept during the season, but the playoffs are a whole different beast and the Raptors' glaring weaknesses were exposed. The one good thing about that happening is that it forced Masai to address them in the off-season and now we have players like Carroll, Scola, Joseph and Biyombo who can and have made a difference. You have to wonder what would have happened had the Raptors finished third and faced Milwaukee instead of Washington. Would we have won that series? Would we have the new guys that we do now? And yes, I'm hopeful we'll win at least one series this year. Part of me wants a rematch against Washington or Brooklyn, but I also wouldn't mind seeing us play the Bucks or Celtics. There's still a LONG way to go before that though.

Secondly DeMar shouldn't have been standing at the 3pt line because that's not his forte, he should've cut on the baseline when Lowry cut through the 2 defenders and could've been an easy layup. And finally Lowry could've gave it to PP on that pick and roll. I always come back to this game to remind myself where it all began to our quest to our first chip.
