    Im so glad I watched this. I bought this kit. Never done it myself before. Gave it a half ass try and got frustrated and quit before I even got lashes glued on the "rod." I was frustrated that it wouldn't lay down on corners but bow I see that it's probably just the way it is. The kit i did buy is like yours but also came with the tint too. Will try again later.
    And the most important part, which I was not told after getting and being disappointed with my first lash lift and tint professionally. But she never told me any after care. I could barely see any lift or tint. So when I got home a put a light layer of mascara to see if I could tell the difference then. Obviously that was a mistake. After paying what I paid and not being happy, that I'd what let me to thinking I could buy and try myself.
    Thanks for giving me back the confidence that I could do it, along with a better instruction than the booklet and definitely the important aftercare.
    I love watching your channel and seeing how much you've grown over time. Thanks again!!❤❤

      Oh my goodness! Your kind words are what I needed to hear!! So thank you! I’m so glad you’re feeling confident to give it another go. A lash lift really does make all the difference! You’ve got it this time!
      Personally I need to see some real talk videos before I attempt certain things 😅 lol I’m really glad this video helps you 💕

    Thanks for this video! I've watched several and yours is by far the more most informative and positive one I have seen! I have the same kit and hadnt tried it because the directions were just too spotty for me to follow. I found a few other videos and followed those with minimal success. After watching yours now, i'm actually excited to try it again next time i do it. i'm a little wary of trying it too soon. its not that it didnt work- i just didnt use a curler as you suggested at the beginning and i think that will make a big difference. Plus, your just adorable so i'm now subscribed! Thanks again!

      Angie Towne, ikr I've watched other videos too, so far this is the most helpful tutorial I have seen. I just ordered mine 3 days ago and I can't wait to try it! I got it from this site trylashlift, they have great deals too!

    As a licensed cosmetologist, I always blow dry my eye lash curler to slightly warm it up, I test it on the inside of my wrist, and the heat will help hold the curl.
    Hold curler until the metal is cool.
    Use a oil based mascara (water will break the bond and loose the curl)
    And your eyelashes will stay curled until you wet them. 🥰

      This is so helpful. Now it makes sense why my mascara straightens even the tightest curl from my eyelash curler. It’s water-based and water breaks the hydrogen bonds that hold the shape of dry hair. I don’t know why I never put that together.
      Thank you!

    I'm late.. super late to this video, but I desperately need my lashes lifted(we're on a 28 day lockdown as of this week so no salons are open). I have distichiasis, which is double eyelashes basically.. It's a pain in the butt! Thank you for this very detailed tutorial. I'll definitely have to fine tune it for my double lashes though.
    Also, the SS,S,M,L,LL all fit the eyes and with a little research I found that it's the mound on them that defines the amount of lift outwards. (For my kit anyways 😉)

    This video was really helpful! I just bought a kit from Amazon and 2-3 of my solutions were mislabeled and I didn’t realize it until I was almost done 🤣😭

  • @ashligannon

    A year late into this video but how long exactly did these last? Like when did you start seeing your lashes not as lifted? And how often do you lift your lashes? So many questions :) thank you :)

    • @SemiCrunchyAlwaysExtra
      @SemiCrunchyAlwaysExtra  Před 2 lety +1

      I’d say it lasts as long as it takes for your natural lashes to shed and new ones to grow in. Around 2 months it’s a little mixed for me and by 3-4 months my lashes could use a lift again. I’m due to another lift again soon so will post an update video! Thanks for watching :)

    I haven’t got any perm solution left, can I do it without?

    • @SemiCrunchyAlwaysExtra
      @SemiCrunchyAlwaysExtra  Před 6 měsíci

      :( unfortunately not. The perm solution is an essential part of what lifts the lash. I’ve tried it when it’s running low and used less than normal and got less than results

    How long does the lash lift last?

    • @SemiCrunchyAlwaysExtra
      @SemiCrunchyAlwaysExtra  Před 2 lety +1

      I thought I replied to this the other day, but I guess it didn’t go through. It lasts “really good” for me for about 10-14 days, and then “good enough” for a month-6 weeks after. New lashes come in and they aren’t lifted

    I think the glue is amazing 🤷🏼‍♀️ didn’t have any problems with it ever. Just make sure to allow it to dry a bit before putting the pad on the lid

    • @SemiCrunchyAlwaysExtra
      @SemiCrunchyAlwaysExtra  Před 3 lety

      Well that’s good to hear! I might try it next time, I was just hesitant based on all the amazon reviews that said they loved the kit, everything but the glue. 😂

    • @frenchsauvage1994
      @frenchsauvage1994 Před 2 lety

      Yhh I’ve tried everything with the glue. Using lots, a little, letting it dry as it says, letting it dry for longer. The middle sticks fine. The end keep lifting 😒.

      My glue came in dry so I just use the duo eyelash glue… dries too fast but it holds them up lol

      I hope not either! I really don’t get that vibe from this house but definitely have at other properties! 😬 We have pets- a dog and also a cat at the time. I’d leave my door ajar to cut down on background noise but not be fully shut, because the cat would be obnoxious and beat the door down to come in.. then want to be let out.. ya know, cats.
