  • I picked up a Clam sled harness last year and used it on many outings which you would have seen in some of my previous videos. It made a world of difference in hauling gear. I made it into a polk sled using 1 ich conduit cut to size. You can use a hack saw or reciprocating saw. I cut my poles to 85.5 inches long. I took the provided straps in the kit and pulled them through the conduit with a piece of paracord. Once through, a carabiner was attached to each end. A piece of 18-inch long velcro, an inch wide was wrapped around the two pieces of conduit. This allows the poles to form the x-pattern. You clip the two ends to the provided harness and the other to the 2 eyebolts on the sled. You are ready to go.
