Funny, as a 56 yr old man with 3 grand children, two of which are girls I find myself in the same situation. I think outside of Lauren's obviously good looks her true staying power is her upbeat and positive personality. In this day and age of negativity it's very refreshing and brings me back to my youth, the 80's, when I believe times were much more positive. I will undoubtedly introduce my granddaughters to Laurens videos for Jump rope inspiration as well as the positive role model that Lauren provides to young girls and boys for that matter. Thank you Lauren for a small look into your daily life.

I loved the vlog because it turned you into a real person and reminded me that you are not an alien, super creature who is hiding on earth disguised as a peaceful skipper. I also appreciated seeing how much hard work you put into your craft. That reminded me of something important...that hard work is the fuel that feeds the engines of achievement. I would love to see some full gym workouts with description of exercises, weight you use, number of reps and sets. Do you run also or walk? What does Mr. Jumps do? For everyone else reading this comment , as you see Lauren’s fantastic body is created in the gym. Weight-bearing exercise is extremely important for men and women since women start losing bone mineral density, age 25, and bone loss speeds up when in her 40s, which results in half of all women suffering a bone fracture. Men start losing bone density at age 40 which results in one out of every five men suffering a bone fracture. So if you don’t want to end up fracturing bones, broken hips or getting osteoporosis when you are older, you better start lifting some weights! If you are 40 years plus then this is doubly important because you are already middle-aged given that the average UK life expectancy right now for a woman is 83 years old and for a man is 79 years old.
That’s a pretty high life expectancy. I believe the US is 76 for men and 79 for women.

The key word used in most of the comments is ‘inspirational’ and you truly are. I love the way you show the hard work and grim determination needed to get a routine down. I think you should consider doing TED talks and school visits as your attitude toward life in general is ..er…inspirational! Oh! Watching all the routines you do, it's very inspiring to see how you create them and if you just watch the finished result, you don't realize all the hard work that goes into them. So, YES! More "Lauren: Outside the Rope." content PLEASE. You very much remind me of a young Heather Locklear. And you are SOOOOO talented! Keep up the good work!! I will be starting back into exercising regularly in about a month, just setting up the home gym here in SoCal at the moment, some assembly required, and I plan on including jumping as part of my cardio routine. At 66 yrs old, I love your videos for a number of reasons, You are incredibly talents, your dance moves are impressive, like watching your choreography and creative process. Your videos are always aesthetically pleasing to watch, you are so positive and healthy in body and attitude. I like your honesty about not being perfect, showing the challenges and struggles. I also think you are a very interesting person, and truly enjoy the vlogs and behind the scenes. It is nice getting to know you about you. I still workout and excercise and like your workout videos. Question: Have you ever done any boxing work outs, especially with speed bag....so much about rythym seems like you would be good at it. Best to you. I look forward to what comes next. .
Very fun to watch. You seem to be having a good time despite the heavy schedule, flying all about, appointments and on and on. I could never be comfortable with all of that. Be so careful with the sun exposure. I know all you Brits go more than a bit loo loly over sunshine but I'd hate for your beautiful skin to turn into crepe paper in just a few years. I was a boxer in college and used to skip rope everyday. Nobody could do anything like I could because I jumped every day. Then fast forward 30+ years and You Lauren shows up and you are amazing at what you can do with a jump rope. I enjoyed your video! I only know you from IG and Facebook and until this video, I’d only seen you jumping.
I’m 75 and I’m in excellent physical condition, compared to other people around my age. IG recommended your channel because I had been looking for jump rope videos. I had just started jump roping again after stopping for the past three or four decades. I was immediately hooked on your videos.
My main passion is cycling. I wanted to get back into jump rope to work on an alternate way to stay fit.
After watching loads and loads of your videos, it was great fun to see some of who you are more fully in ties video. It was also a revelation to see how much more you put into your training than just jump roping to be the extraordinary athlete you are.
Definitely enjoy the ‘behind the scenes’ . Very natural and real. Positive feedback 👍👍 for this format . Well done 😊
