Wonderful job sir! Love that you went through the effort and made a true throttle rather than using a ball valve in the smokebox like so many choose to do. You’re doing good work. LOVE the Myford Super 7 too. I want one, badly. Cheers from Nebraska USA
I was just thinking this morning in my workshop you hadn't posted for a while. then when I come in "hey presto". Nice video, like the thought process, keep safe.
Fantastic as always, you really do have to think like an engineer when building these! Incredible work. Hope you have a lovely New Year. Look forward to part 3
Happy New Year Craig, and thanks for ending my year on a high note 👍😀 Fortunately for me my family still live in UK, so I get to celebrate twice. Time to get on the sauce! 😃😃😃
Hey Craig. I've been following up on your boiler construction videos in order to get an idea of how the machining process works for a Model Steam Power Plant. Are you ever going to finish the boiler for the Sterling Engine? This boiler looks great too, but it was created by another person, and I was hoping to see the 6" finished. I assume you're busy with others things (such as finishing the 9f Loco), but I would like to see it one day. Cheers!
Hi Dain - The 6" vertical boiler is ready for silver soldering however I need to construct a suitable hearth that will retain the heat in the job. It is also a two man job - one to provide general heat to the job with a large propane torch and one to do the detailed soldering with a smaller torch or oxy-propane. I'm not sure when this will happen as I have a lot going on in the next twelve months. It will happen at some point! Cheers Craig
I enjoy your videos
Great job
Thank you José
Beautiful Craig! Its always a pleasure to watch your engineering videos.
Thank you David.

Thanks Kevin. 'Effort' is the right word as you will see in next video. It has not been straight forward to say the least!

Happy New year Mate. Always beautiful to see proper engineering.
Many thanks
Great engineering Craig, nice one mate...
Cheers Allen - had some fun with this bugger - see next video......
Lovely job. Happy New Years. I am enjoying watching your videos.

Would love to see more video of the machining rather than stills, but still fascinating stuff !
Sometimes the job overtakes you and before you know it little has been recorded.
