Hunter and Mclean are better as a duo not a trio or quintet. Change my mind. This is pure amazing, hope to see you gentlemen again soon. That was such a treat.
My god this is gold. The connection man. Locked. So many magical moments. A real joy to watch.
Some of this totally reminds me of the chemistry between Scofield and Bill Stewart. So good.

He's the drummer for Lion King on Broadway, among others. He has nothing to prove to anyone. That's why I like his channel.

the development of independence is such a strange phenomenon to experience as a human. Ive been working on piano a bit more lately since i cant play drums where im at which is torture, but one excercise ive been doing is just 1/4 notes on both hands simultaneously, but i do 5 /4 on the left hand and 4/4 on the right. At first i look just like charlie does when he does his stank face. (the one where he looks like he is trying to take a massive dump that aint fully cooperating) and its like my brain is breaking down some odd barrier that ive created? .....its very uncomfortable, until one day all the sudden its like i been eatin lots of fiber and its all the sudden easy, flowing!!! and it feels GOOD!!!! HA!!!!

Sorry Sam but it's the old hymnal 'A Closer Walk with Thee'. There's been quite a few Jazz takes on that one but, for guitar players, Grant Green's version from the mid-'60s (I can't think of the album off-hand) is hard to beat.
