This is a Classic! I've been waiting for someone to upload this for many years. I would check every few months to see if someone uploaded it. I even requested it in the comments of a few people who uploaded movies that were similar in nature to this. Never had any luck tho. Then last time I checked, about 1 wk ago, to my surprise it was here. And the bizarre thing is it shows that it was uploaded 7yrs ago. I can't understand how I never found it before. I've searched numerous times. Only thing I can think of to explain it is maybe the uploader, initially uploading it to his channel 7yrs ago, had it in a private folder and he just recently moved it to a public folder for public viewing. Anyhow, regardless, it's a great movie. One of my all time favorites and if you love Willie, and if you like old time western style movies, then you'll certainly enjoy this movie. It's not a stereotypical type 'western' but definitely a western type setting.
Love this movie. This was a great concept album for Willie, back I think in 84-85. Lot of the songs I play are from this one. Makes me recall memories of my dad. We went to see this movie together.
Yes it's a great movie and album. I too enjoy a lot of the songs. The Album itself actually came out quite some time before the Movie. It would seem that the Movie is based on the Album and the stories painted by its music. The Album, Red Headed Stranger, was released in 1975 while the Movie (of the same name), Red Headed Stranger, was first released in 1986. Definitely one of my all-time favorites. Another one of my all-tine favorite movies, which I had been waiting for someone to upload to youtube for years and I happened to find it on the same day that I found this one, is called, Belizaire the Cajun, released in 1986 and starring Armand Assante amongst some other noteable actors. What a great movie. I watch a lot of western movies and this one is up there amongst the best. This is Willy Nelson at his best.
