A good interview with a man who found his Lord within a society decaying at its foundations. All of us true believers can sense something is deeply wrong with this secularised, pleasure chasing, God denying society, because our Creator has put within us the desire for something more.
Fulfillment over amusement. Destiny over pleasure. Divine responsibility over lawlessness. Spiritual virtues over senseless consumerism. That is what our hearts incline towards. That is the temperament of the believing soul.
It makes me think of this brilliant quote from Will Durant (with some light editing):
"A nation is born stoic, and dies epicurean. At its cradle (to repeat a thoughtful adage) religion stands, and philosophy accompanies it to the grave.
In the beginning of all cultures a strong religious faith conceals and softens the nature of things, and gives men courage to bear pain and hardship patiently; at every step God is with them, and will not let them perish, until they do. Even then a firm faith will explain that it was the sins of the people that turned their God to an avenging wrath; evil does not destroy faith, but strengthens it. If victory comes, if war is forgotten in security and peace, then wealth grows; the life of the body gives way, in the dominant classes, to the life of the senses and the mind; toil and suffering are replaced by pleasure and ease; science weakens faith even while thought and comfort weaken virility and fortitude. At last men begin to doubt God; they mourn the tragedy of knowledge, and seek refuge in every passing delight.
Achilles is at the beginning, Epicurus at the end. After David comes Job, and after Job, Ecclesiastes."

    indeed this is God will.
I found Gerrans interpretation 3 weeks ago and both of you guys youtube channel 1 week ago, I read the Qur'an everyday, I choose only to follow the Qur'an as God words, as my culture and norms was previously based on the danish/norwegian society - where I am from. Opening up to God was weird to me but when I understood God, then everything came clear to me.
Thank you for your content and keep it up both of you.

@@Kpeecamera5630 Brother, I r3cently became Qur'an alone after reading the whole Qur'an with care and detached from emotion. I thank God for His guidance. You are right, these hadiths are very doubtful. However even philosophical works from Aristotle and the great thinkers of history is also doubtful yet we still take wisdom from it - here lies the distinction between Secterian Hadithists and Qur'an alone believers, that we only take the Qur'an as revelation and what must be followed and where legislation is derived. however we do not deprive ourselves from wisdom elsewhere, from people of Old who were great thinkers, while it is very unlikely that the Prophet said this particular hadith, it still contains wisdom and Truth, and one can benefit nonetheless. The shirk and danger is hadith as legislation.

What would you call a specific and dedicated time to reflect upon life, mercy, and the actions of faith. I call it a "Dedication", but you can call it a duty, or whatever you wish. It is what it is.
"My life, my death, my heart, and my soul, my dedication, and purification is for Allah"
      Dedication/Duty = Salat
      Purification = Zakat
      Peace and Blessings.

Well simply put your 5x daily ritual prayer has 0 Quranic basis and is not found in more reconcilable with the Quran. Period. Despite the fact that Allah himself claims numerous times that the Qur’an is fully detailed with full explanation. Exposition of everything. That Allah left nothing out of the book. That it is the Best of Hadith. Best of Tafsir. Warns against any Hadith after it. That it is Perfected. Completed. Sufficient guide. Clear. Al furqan the criterion. And all the messenger spoke of and followed. And a control over the writ.
Allah also warns against your fabricated Hadith lit falsely attributed to Muhammad AS also:
      6:112-116
We have permitted the enemies of every prophet-human and jinn devils-to inspire in each other fancy words, in order to deceive. Had your Lord willed, they would not have done it. You shall disregard them and their fabrications.
This is to let the minds of those who do not believe in the Hereafter listen to such fabrications, and accept them, and thus expose their real convictions.*
Shall I seek other than GOD as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed?* Those who received the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt.
The word of your Lord is complete,* in truth and justice. Nothing shall abrogate His words. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient.
If you obey the majority of people on earth, they will divert you from the path of GOD. They follow only conjecture; they only guess.
77:50 Then in what Hadith after it2 will they believe?3
45:6 Those are the proofs1 of God; We recite them to thee in truth.2 Then in what Hadith after God and His proofs4 will they believe?
31:6 And among men is he who purchases the diversion of Hadith/idle tales to lead astray from the path of God without knowledge, and takes it in mockery: those have a humiliating punishment.
39:23 God has sent down the best Hadith:1 a Writ2 of paired comparison3 whereat shiver the skins of those who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts soften to the remembrance4 of God - that is the guidance of God wherewith He guides whom He wills; and whom God sends astray, for him there is no guide.
7:185 Have they not considered the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and what things God has created, and that it may be that their term has drawn nigh? And in what Hadith after this will they believe?

and if you translate salah as to pray in the Quran you reach 2 verses that show that this simply can not be correct.
This ayat says God ans the angels perform salah for the prophet. Does Allah pray? Do the angels pray to Muhammad? No. Salah can not mean pray. But means duty which incl prayers amongst other things incl charity and feeding orphan etc.
this ayat should be translated as this:
God and His angels perform the duty1 for the Prophet. O you who heed warning:2 perform the duty3 for him and greet with a salutation.4
Another verse that shows this is
He it is that performs the duty1 for2 you, as do3 His angels, that He might bring you out of darkness4 into the light; and He is merciful to the believers.5
Salah can be understood as upholding / following closely (observing) the duties, and some understand it as to support also
