My guess on the stalker is Brenda Murphy. She was there during the ''shiny little crown'' conversation and Vera set her up to take the fall for Bea's death, so it makes sense she'd want the cash dropped off at her grave. I just HOPE when Vera opens the door that the episode doesn't end before we see who the stalker is 😔

I definitely agree that she's the most logical suspect, but man, that'd be pretty disappointing considering how minor of a character she was. I mean she was only in like 3 episodes, and all we really know is that she was thrown under the bus by Vera when Bea died and that she likes her smoke breaks. lol

Prophetess of MeoW - Joan Is gone too. Good writing by WW Writers. Stretching the "is Joan alive" scenario was genius of their part. Writing so good that it has YOU constantly watching and commenting. It's sad that the WW writing Team, aren't listening to your comments. The storyline can either be something very clever and twisted (The Freak escaping and substituting a body) or predictable lame and boring (introducing a new character or having Jake be the blackmailer) I bet they go with something disappointing lame and predictable.

I expect everyone in this season will get many awards..they are an incredible team..Actually I'm falling in love with all..keep going and I'm waiting the next season as soon as possible.
After watching the last episode of the Wentworth, here in the States, I have to say I am a bit underwhelmed by this seasons story-line. The rush to get Franky Dole out of the show, when so much more anticipated action could have been added, I mean, come on the keys for the LUG are conveniently dropped by Gidget in the parking lot? How did Franky know she was even there or if she was even going to be charged? How easy it was to figure out the blackmailer, I mentioned it was most likely Murphy several of these videos back and Channing's involvement. I mean, lets face it, in previous Wentworth was NOT so obvious in their story-lines and you were often super surprised by the outcomes, but not this season. I do however, like the fact that they are keeping RITA on in the series, she could play a great role within the show and as a Top Dog.
Got to admit, the mannerisms and build of their blackmailer looks like Joan (especially the way they handled the phone). But I'm not getting suckered. ;-/ It'll probably be that the police have been trying to smoke them out the whole time.
It's not the cops, they would've already arrested them after seeing them dig up the grave & Joan is dead.

Prophetess, I'm half thinking that Jake saving Vera was a cock-up by the TV magazine or whatever it was that published it. Will actually rescued Vera in ep 11, which is what I thought this was referring too. Similarly there has been a "leak" that Channing is the stalker, but unless he's playing really dumb, after ep 11 we've established he isn't. I'm not listening to any leaks or rumours anymore. Can't trust them. The only leak that's ever been so accurate for WW was when the drunkard Libby Tanner spoiled Bea's death before S4 aired. lol
Love how they finally get some new characters to get invested in, some strong Indigenous characters, and if the rumours are correct that they cancel the series after next year, I'll not be happy.
I hope it's not Murphy because.... well we didn't really care about her? & I'm going to be so annoyed if I find out that it's someone none of us had ever seen yet or couldn't predict. Like Joan's British twin or some person who secretly admired her when they were a child. And maybe having it connect to the Ruby/Mary plot would be nice too lol
It is officer Murphy for sure and I can tell you why.
Apart from clues, like meeting at Bea's grave, or Murphy's motive, the stalker having Murphy's way of walking and moving, there are 2 very strong indicators it's her.
1. The jacket
The jacket Murphy wears in Season 6 Episode 1 is the same jacket the stalker wears. Yup, really.
2. The golden crowns
When Vera said she had a "private"-conversation in Season 4 Episode 1 about the golden crowns on Vera's uniform, she didn't speak the truth. There was someone in the room. Right before mentioning the crowns, in the background a door opens and someone is let in. Oh, look, Murphy is here to give Ferguson her meds.
So, the ONLY person who could possibly have heared this conversation, wears a jacket later that is the same one the stalker wears. The stalker can't be anyone else than Brenda Murphy.
Melanie was a character in a fan fiction from S4. I have no idea why people think she's canon. The story wasn't even good lol.

Okay, episode 11 was freakin awesome, the finale is going to be massive. Now we know it's not Channing, which is a relief, because if it isn't Joan, is going to have to be someone we would never expect. If it was either Turk or Murphy, that would be boring and pointless, so no, I think we're all in for a big surprise. As much as I want Joan to be alive, even thought her ending in Season 5 was pretty much a good ending, and I don't believe in ruining good endings, I still want it to be her. I really started to believe she was dead, but after watching ep 11, I don't know now. Something tells me, now that the police know where she was buried, they will identify the body a someone else. Just a feeling. I'm also looking forward to see how the whole thing plays out next week with Rita, Marie and the others. Please tell me Rita or Vera doesn't die. Rita has become my new favourite character this season and hope is in the next season too.

Ciara, Tina is the Asian character who peddled drugs in S5. She spent most of S5 as one of Joan's underlings. She was in the series since season 3 I believe, but seems to have disappeared now.

james taylor Colin Vickery surmised that any cancellation might be due to the series losing out on a massive production rebate once it hit 65 hours of content. No longer eligible for Screen Australia’s Producer Offset scheme, Wentworth‘s production costs will jump by 30%.
At this stage, however, the official line is: “Discussions between Foxtel and FremantleMedia regarding future seasons of Wentworth continue. Season 7 of the series will conclude production in Melbourne on Friday July 27 2018.”

All i want for season six, is my Allie safe and Sound.
I loved Allie since she was with Bea but I've hated her for the least few episodes. It pisses me off!! I know Allie is in S7 for sure because there was a pic posted of her & Marie on set, during filming of S7.

1) how did Murphy know there was a grave? 2 ) How did Murphy know about the escape plot? 3) How did Murphy know Vera Will and Jake were going to the grave at that point in time to lie in wait for them with a camera? - all these decisions were all at the last minute and only known buy either Will, Jake and or Vera?.....This didn't make sense to me...disappointing end in my opinion. - To kill THE FREAK off was a big mistake and without the Freak the show won't be the same.. probably a good thing season 7 will be the last.

What do you mean Diane? The blackmailer didn't receive the 500k so they followed through on the threat and contacted the police regarding the grave site. That scene is of the police finding the site themselves. Does that help you?

At the beginning of Season 6, Bridget was on crutches and wouldn't give an answer to Franky about why. Vera also asked and was brushed off by Bridget. Was this ever explained? I wonder if she is somehow involved. She knows everything about all of them. Just a thought.

It's weird to say but i would't be too suprised if it's actually Bea. Although there would have to be alot of explanations how she could have survived. What i think it could be is that she has been in an coma(?) Since we never really saw any proof of her actually being dead. Like i said it's a theory but we'll have to wait :)
Someone on here pointed out the blood thickening pills she took that one time she escaped to kill Braydon. It could be possible she took those again and had a plan with Vera to escape and keep Joan inside. I mean it kinda makes sense cuz at the time she thought Allie was dead so she didnt see a reason to stay back and made a plan with Vera
But didn't the inmate who had the blood thickening pills prescribed for her die well before Bea was killed?

But Vera seemed to look straight ahead at the person on the other side if the door,,, and she’s really short... so if there’s not a step to her door so the person outside could be standing lower or it’s someone other than Joan. I think there has been too much of a build up to this season, if it’s someone like that woman who liked her smokebreaks and took the fall for Bea getting out I’ll be very disappointed. WHY ON BEA'S "GRAVE" THOUGH ?? I know it's part of the puzzle. Plus! watching this video over and over again... when VERA opened the door the facial reaction was NOT FEAR it was recognition. And I find it haunting! Another observation, when vera opened the door, the person was right there in front of her because We can see her presence at the left side of the shot but take note... SHE WASN'T LOOKING UP we all know that The freak is tall. Unless they really didn't wanna give away anything that they made the scene so neutral that everyone will think that "it could be anybody". So.... WHO THE FCK IS IT?!?! I'm going mad over here trying to figure this fcker out. the stalker is murphy it's so obvious from the blackmailing have started. i hope that season finale will be better than whole this season which was boring as fuck. i miss old wentworth. not just the characters, you know..(but "old characters" are so much better written than the new ones...) just the tension, goosebumps, really surprising plot... season 6 for me is the worst of all. maybe it's actually a good decision to finish wentworth after season 7.. too bad... it was my favourite show.
