This list requires a Number ELEVEN...! I think 2023 is the year that Parlogram and Andrew have become the definitive Beatles channel on CZcams, or any tube really! In particular, no other Beatles channel conveys or recreates the special feeling and excitement of what it was like when The Beatles released new material. The forensic research and entertaining presentation of little known details make this THE go to Beatles channel. I hope Apple and the surviving Beatles appreciate the great work of Parlogram and take on board all the suggestions and comments. Keep up the the good work in 2024!

Another highly entertaining post. Releasing the MMT tracks and the unreleased singles as an LP resulted (in America) in the perfect follow up to Sergeant Pepper. Whereas in Britain the Pepper album follow up was The Beatles White Album, altogether and to many people, too different from Pepper.

Thank you for this video. I have a genuine version of 'Introducing the Beatles,' purchased in 1964. At the time, I'd finally succeeded in convincing my dad to buy 'Meet the Beatles' for me but when 'The Beatles Second Album' was released so quickly in April 1964, he complained that he'd just bought me a Beatles album. Instead, he bought the VeeJay album because it was less expensive than the Capitol releases.

Hello, I'm from Argentina, I always imagined what the next Beatles album would have been like if they hadn't broken up.
I imagine it would have been a double album, the black album, taking songs from Paul's first 2 albums, John's first 2, George's solo debut and some of Ringo's from his debut covers album.
It would be great to see a video with this idea,

I happen to like "Hey Bulldog". I think it's one of their more rocking songs. The Stereo separation in the movie soundtrack is fantastic, but the movie track version of the, the stereo is much more narrow.
Free as a Bird and Now and then are awesome Beatles songs.

"Another year over....and a new one just begun". Sorry, had to do that. Great videos as always, and I espeically liked the Introducing The Beatles counterfited LP. I lived in Gary, Indiana for about the first 6 or 7 years of my life. The only thing I was aware of was Gary's connection to Michael Jackson and his family. Our family lived on the west side of Gary, while Michael's family lived on the east side of Gary. Later on, when becoming more immersed in the Beatles and the U.S. albums, many articles about VJ Records would state that they are a Chicago based record label, which is incorrect. I think, because of Gary's close proximity to Chicago, that writers thought Chicago was where VJ was located at. So. as I was from one city that had a Beatles connection, I live near a city today that also has a Beatles connection: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Home to Swan Records, which produced the single She Loves You, and telling it's record buyers "Don't Drop Out".

Great round-up of the year Andrew, thanks. Like you, I wished McCartney had included the "I don't want to lose you" segment in Now And Then, as it's the best bit. But maybe it leaves some kind of door open for an official release as there are some (very good) unofficial versions out there?
I listened to it once, on the day it came out. I pressed play, waited for the bridge/chorus ("I don't want to lose you" ), it didn't come. Haven't played it again since.

I discovered your channel some three months ago, and have learned so much from you. Your knowledge, format, delivery, and content detail is just superb. In particular, I appreciate the details you provide that really fill in the gaps to every story. Although an obsessed fan, I never knew or paid that much attention to some of those details you provide and I am so grateful that you provided this newly acquired knowledge - more comment on this topic in another post. I am a US first generation fan ( age 68) that remembers the Beatles on Ed Sullivan on 9 February, 1964 and was hooked from that day. Your videos continue to enhance that experience for me. Love the McCartney - Lennon credit which is why I favour The Beatles Hits Ep, where all four tracks have that credit. It occurs to me that if you were to remove all the cover songs and add the Ringo version of Love Me Do, plus From Me To You and Thank You Girl, you would have fifteen tracks. All mono. And label the album, "McCartney-Lennen." Maybe add superior versions of Please Please Me. I would buy this album in a heartbeat.
Your videos - and the never-heard-before details behind these stories - are utterly absorbing. Your Beatles related channel is one of the very best on CZcams. It is coming to the history of the Beatles completely afresh.
