Im the same but it makes me get anxiety if I avoid people for too long. Im good in my own company but during lockdown the more I stayed on my own the worse my mental health got.
If I go out and talk to someone I'm fine but if I stay in without talking to anyone I start shaking and my heart beats really fast just at the thought of going outside. Anyway I don't know why I told you this so I wish you all the best in life ❤

Episodes from series 2 and 3 I think? Karl's Day, World Cup. But it's the actual guardian podcasts with extra chat not the show versions.

I've listened to all Karl's podcasts for years I can't think of ANYTHING nice he's ever said about Suzanne. He constantly complains about her breaking things, hates & insults her haircuts and the money she spends on them, counts fixing the floor & regifted items as presents for her, keeps track of how much money he spends on her and demands she spend the same, purposely farts near her or massages her badly so he doesn't have to do it again, or buys her a box of discount condoms for Christmas, forces her to go to the market when she's sick making her sicker, or refusing to let her stay in bed on her days off by blasting music till she gets up, not to mention bitching about everything all the time, I mean Jesus christ....i can't imagine he's anything close to romantic....sadly people in unhealthy relationships think it's too much of a pain to break up and look for someone new, so they just deal with it or believe they don't deserve better. He doesn't sound mean or abusive but why would a woman put up with all the douchey knucklehead things he puts her thru? If I were Ricky I would have to ask her what the hell she sees in him...I dunno, maybe I'm missing sumthin....

It’s his shtick. Imagine how unfunny it would be if he kept singing her praises and how wonderful she is. They obviously love each other as they’re still together plus she got with him before he got successful.

I think he’s just very straightforward - from what I’ve gathered it’s kind of a Manchester thing to be sort of curmudgeonly - I think he’s probably got his own sweet side. There are plenty of moments where he’s genuinely charming - he has a very childlike perspective that’s really endearing
