Pretty good run, got grabbed early on cost me some time and died in like ch 14 =( got pretty salty because it's one of the easiest parts ;-;

Great run. I remember my first time playing this game on Nightmare, it was crazy, I was terrified all the time and it took me forever to finish the game.
Same with me😂😂😂 I had the hardest time with Stefano and the part with Yukiko in the big fire wall
took me 18 hrs

That part where you couldn't use a gun at 40:00 ish was absolutely butt clenching. This game is even intense for a speedrunner.

Jigzaw you’re a beast I noticed you’re playing the game on Xbox console can u please give any tips on aiming, is it camera sensitivity? I placed the dot it helps a lot.. ps I’m playing in ps4
i'm actually playing on PC with a PS4 controller. the pc version auto shows the xbox prompts. and just keep playing, you'll get used to the feeling!
Jigzaw_Killer thanks man lowered the sensitivity for now and even though the camera movement sucks it helps me aim better from far and up close just use shot gun

How did you manage to have a farther aim from sebastian with the pistol (the aim is a little closer on console)? I would also like to be able to have the same aim as you with the pistol, is there a particular adjustment to be made? Thank you
It's kinda embarassing, but only now I realized that one can explode red barrels by shooting at them. I was only focused on lighting up the oil coming out of them XD

Can't stand in the same place as you with Myra at the end, she's stomps me every time. My bolts are maxed out and it's like they have no effect on her. My abilities are maxed out and 1 1/2 hours later, still can't defeat her. Game is glitchy as hell.
Just shoot her? Myra is not that hard, honestly.
boss fights in particular give u endless ammo for pistol for ez defeat honestly a forgiving game

I beat the game on nightmare a couple days ago. Watching this speed run already makes me miss playing it, but alas, there's a whole stack of games waiting to be complete
I completed the game on NG like 1 year ago and im impressed how much stuff did i get in the save. Revolver, Double barreld shotgun, Slmost every upgrade, Etc.

Alguien podria explicarme xq pierde tiempo apuntando mientras corre si es un speed run? no entiendo.
asi le dura mas la estamina, si llega al limite el personaje se queda parado para recuperar el aliento. Al apuntar rapido y esprintar hace que la resistencia fisica le dure mas tiempo. Si no lo hiciera seria mas lento aunque no lo parezca

The Evil within franchise could be a course on not only how to start a new franchise successfully but also how to completely fuck up a franchise after starting it up perfectly. they, IMO, took everything that was interesting in 1 and then dismissed it in 2 in favour of stuff we dont care about. took me 2 years to finish 2 because i didnt care about the story.
The second one was better but I can agree they are two different games. I couldn't play the first one because how archaic the graphics were.
It's just like the Resident Evil franchise where the old school fans hated RE7 because it fundamentally changed what RE was about.
I thought it was no commentary untill one minute in 😒

The first games 'atmosphere' and 'creepiness' was just uninspired nonsense imo.
Getting flung from one dark corridor level to the next with no rhyme or reason wasn't creepy it was boring.
