Just started my first playthrough on casual just to experience what the game has to offer. Incredibly fun and I see myself playing the harder difficulties as well bcs casual is really easy so far (I'm on chapter 5 now, not watching this speedrun further for now ofc :p). Edit: I took 3hours+ where you are in less then 30min LUL
I always find it funny to wonder what the character a speedrunner is possessing is thinking as they do the speedrun and this is a prime example because why the heck would Sebastian think “mmm yes I must crouch up and down repeatedly and take the key as he’s right next to me”
Hi, I'm from Mex and I'm surprised by your video. That mode cost me a lot. I had about 250 deaths and you didn't kill me, but I was able to get a platinum trophy on ps4.
Dude literally just went and made the hardest difficulty look fucking easy. 😂 This is the only difficulty I haven't beaten yet. I haven't even attempted it.
GG! I lurked during the run, feel ya at the end. It seems like using the mouse on the machine gun gives better dps. Also in ch4 it is not needed to burn the body Jigz, after kicking the door, don’t sprint right away, wait like a second (not tight) then sprint to the floor switch, for some reason it corrects laura to scripted distance, so she won’t catch up and bitch slap you. bc the bitch slap is just a way of tbe game to try to correct distance from laura to seb, too far away she gets a boost, you know the code of the game is held together by wd40 and cable zippers.
Absolutely love The Evil Within. Only thing I have left to complete is The Executioner, hidden chamber fight. Its the only level that feels like AKUMU. Just can't crack it
@@jasonriley7322 I was able to find a few working strats some days ago when going for this. Hopefully you find it useful: Max out all weapons/upgrades in your inventory before starting the fight. Use your hammer on the basic haunted and fat guys. Save the upgraded chainsaw for Zehn and the Sadists boss fights. Remember to dodge each time you see an upcoming attack. Once at the end, take cover behind the bus and cover one end (Do not attack the bosses head on) When you see either Sebastian or Joseph come around the corner, throw mines at them and back away. Once they set them off, Blast away at their legs with the RPG rounds (Rinse and repeat). If you run out of RPG's, your last resorts will be the dynamite and molotovs. Good luck

I’m pretty sure in akumu you can get insta killed during that chase sequence purely just from shit luck and not your pathing or how you play, but lowering the fps seems to either completely null that chance or lower it significantly (I can’t remember which)

it's not possible to beat the game under 2:20 mins and that's even with the lowest difficulty. AKUMU will only ever go to like 2:45.
