Thanks for the idea of using the pin at the beginning of the fabric, because lots of times I get problems with the fabric sticking in the machine 😖👍👍 thanks

Thank you so much for this! I’ve always put off working with knits because they’re very intimidating.
I was given some ribbed knit that I’d like to use in making a dress for my granddaughter, but I’m not sure which way it goes. Do the ribs go vertical or horizontal? Thanks for sharing this video!

For anyone who has an old machine from their grandma,(1970 or older). Many machines have a zigzag disc that you insert typically on the top.
I had to learn that when I got my grandmothers machine. I was confused for a good few hours till she finally found them and told me 😅

I have a 1948 singer machine that I love! It can sew thru anything. A few yrs back I bought a brand new brother portable machine off a gal brand new in the box. It was exciting because I can’t remember when I’ve used a new machine. ( though I do have a Husqvarna serger ). Anyway I chuckled when I found out it was a 1985 machine and they referred to it as “vintage”. They don’t know what vintage is!!
