My father used to fly when I was a young kid we lived on a dairy farm and dad had a cool little microlite. Dad then had a major moter bike accident on the farm and was no longer allowed to fly so he turned to Flight Sim, this was back in the day's of windows 311 DOS based MS Flight Sim I still have the original copy. That got me interested alot and been doing the sim stuff for years now. will be looking at getting into VATSIM soon.
Love these types of videos. Makes me realize I've been into to airplanes and aeronautics from a very young age. I also grew up for about 2 years on Edwards AFB and was astonished when they'd come whizzing by at super sonic speed. Only just now realizing the impact of that. Ultimate goal would to pilot for NASA to combine my loves and finally go back home. (Space)
Airforcepround95 is the only channel i watch the whole ad for so that he recieves more money. This is the only channel where i feel like videos are made for entertainment and community not just to produce content and collect revenue. Props to you for continuing to grow and support this channel.

I'm new to the AFP95 community, been watching the vids since last year to get a laugh and help get thru the pandemic. I really enjoyed this post best. Get to know AFP95 and his squadron. Yes, this is old video...but I do honestly thank AFP95 for taking the time to shoot, edit & submit all these great vids. As well to his crew for adding to all the laughs & also the “serious” FS videos. I found these late, & part of me is happy I did b/c I can sit back & binge all of them.
I’ve always wanted to do the Flight Sim genre & had fires up FS2004, FSX, & FSXSE editions but all were too intimidating. Well since watching your videos I am finally back in and running tutorial missions and learning, researching, & practicing the skill of sim flying. I have you guys to seriously thank for that, it gave me the push I needed. This is the 1st time I’ve spent over a few hours at a time in a FSim. Before I would get mad and uninstall. I just wish my gaming pals would get into like y’all do.. we were so damn fun years ago and it’s hard to get that back. I just started my flights for my Private Pilots License, and the instructor about lost it on the first flight. When I was a kid, my mom spoiled me with FSX, a yoke, and rudder pedals. So I played a LOT of that, and along with my general interest in airplanes, I knew a LOT going into it. Well we got flying, and I pretty much flew the airplane, and the instructors grin was ear to ear because he knew I wasn't gonna be a pain in the ass to deal with haha. So his advice about playing FSX is true. It makes a WORLD of a difference. My instructor wouldn't stop complimenting me haha. I'm not bragging, my credit is all to FSX and my mom (the real MVP) for buying me expensive things to learn how to fly.

The last time I played a flight sim, it was MS FS3. It was back in the early 90’s and I remember loading it from floppy disks. The graphics were brutal. The buildings were nothing but hollow frames. I’ve been more into racing sims and have even built my own simulator car setup. You’ve now inspired me to start building a flight sim cockpit. (Sorry... I probably should have ‘blogged’ all of that. 😆 )

Man I used to play Fighter Ace II way back in the day... your videos have me thinking about trying to pick it up again. Wanted to be a pilot when I was a kid but lost a fight with a wild pencil (took it to the eye) and so that part's never going to happen, but this stuff is looking pretty cool, especially now that it's on Steam.

That was a nice video. I liked Dane's story the most but I am the same way. I think flying will be a hobby. I have my future set on Astrophysics but I have flight school scheduled this summer. Who knows, maybe plans will change. It is really awesome!

I started in 2004 with my flight sim 2000 then 2002 last one I loved with all the downloadable aircraft I had was flight sim 2004 my favorite one if them all I had B52's a b1 and b2 stealth bomber about 700 world war two fighters and bombers civilian wise 90 different helicopters mainly police versions from lv nv my hometown metro police search and rescue bell uh1h to there MD 500E air four and air five bell 407 but my baby that I flew the most was a Lockheed martin experimental that cieliinged out at 99 thousand ft and at mach 15 so I zipped around the skies at Nelli's afb and groom lake area on that flight sim 2004 but I do love your videos keep up the great work
with the aerosoft airbus,it has connected flight deck,(shared cockpit)but both people have to have it
I got into aviation just a little while ago, actually. Just about 6 months ago, from December 29th to January 26th, I spent an estimated total of 36 hours on multiple airplanes. I'm not completely sure of all the airplanes I flew on, as I was not interested just yet (like a normal person) but I did fly in an Asiana Airlines A380 from KJFK to ICN. About a month later, me and my immediate family took a trip from Kenilworth, NJ (our house) to Newark, NJ to a Filipino restaurant (my dad's original home). We obviously passed by KEWR on the way and took a wierd interest in the planes and stuff. So eventually I looked into it some more and more and more and now here I am. I've been planespotting since March in my small town of Kenilworth, I have a copy of FSX Steam Edition (but no geforce3/radeon8500 gc yet), asking for 1:400 scale diecast airliner models to recreate KEWR, and I want to become a private airplane pilot in the near future (I don't think im up to being trusted with 217 peoples lives while propelling an intricately built hunk of metal through the atmosphere going 439 knots at fl 350 right now or anytime soon) so ill stick to the citations and things like that for the time being. for anyone who isnt interested, too late you already read the while thing.
Guys, I have been struggling to get my love for aviation back since February 2015. I have been an aviation lover for as far as I can remember. I loved EVERY single part of airplanes, even the toilets haha. Something about the Airports gave me a special feeling. I never got bored at the airports. But in February 2015 everything turned around and my enthusiasm disappeared. I was actually shocked. I have done so much to get the aviation enthusiasm back. But now a year and a half has passed by and I'm starting to forget why I even liked airplanes. I think that it will one day turn out like this: no difference between a bike and a plane.

STL is my home airport so cool.
I remomend using Techsmith Camtasia 8 (or higher) to edit. Smooth clean editing. I use it.
Every since I was about nine my dad used to turn on a Microsoft flight sim ( every few years) and in when I was 13(15 now) I got a camera and my dad turned on fsx and I decided to record him flying but he left me to fly instead and I've been hooked ever since

I do not plan to be a pilot, I already want to be a police officer no matter what, but I do plan to start flight school when I turn 14, and I also plan to fly with you guys when I get older, It is pretty fun. I have FSX box edition right now, but I do plan to get the steam edition. I love the videos, keep it up!

Airforce, you're so awesome. You had the same dreams as I did, and you're acting on them! I wish I could do the same, however I do not have good enough eyesight. When I learned that nothing could be done, I was heartbroken. I had dreamed of being a pilot for a good 3 years and when I was told that it wasn't possible, it killed me. Now, I have dreams of being a flight paramedic, I get to save lives and I also get to be in the skies, even if I won't be flying ;) Right now I am in a explorer program with my local ambulance company and it made me realize how much I want to chase this dream. In September, I might be able to go on a shift with an ambulance company nearby :D Thank you for being a true inspiration to me and many others :)

I know how you feel. I've dreamed of being a pilot since I was a kid but I'm colorblind so I cannot fly commercially. I've accepted it but there's always that "what if I wasn't colorblind" in the back of my head.
97I30T Yeah, that's always in the back of my mind and it kills me... If the eye doctor would have actually done something when I was a kid, I could possibly fly, however they didn't think I was serious when I couldn't read the letters with one eye. Amblyopia sucks.

911 was my reason for starting flight sim. Somebody’s got to save us! Right? But i have always loved aviation & space stuff.
On VATSIM you'll normally see me in a British Airways 777-300ER. Only way I got interested in flying was with my dad. Even when I was like 3-4 years old he normally took me to London Heathrow (LHR) for Planespotting once a month. I remembered the old British Airways liveries and then the British Airways tail art they used to have in all their aircraft even saw an Il-62 land there once. Then I started flying on Flight Sims and then DCS etc and then up until a few weeks ago I started looking at buying a Beechcraft Baron 58 or a Cessna.
Plane spotting was a big part of it for me as well. Thanks for the comment

Windows movie maker is very underrated. My friend who is in the tech industry always gives me shit for using it, but like you Iv used it for so long I know it inside and out and it really does let you do everything you need rather easily.
My only issue with WMM is the optimisation of it. I have a 6 core i7 and 12GB of ram and it doesnt really make good use of my system and as a result the file creation times are painful.

Very popular question, gonna try to make a video on this. Long story short, host a session in FSX multiplayer and have a friend join and share your aircraft. From there, one of you connects to VATSIM as a pilot and the other connects as an observer. That way one aircraft shows up but you can both talk to ATC. There will be quirks to iron out, but thats the basics of it.
your so cool man i wanted to know though how do you record with obs i have a hotkey assighed to it so i click / and it starts my recording and when i click that at the start of a flight at the end i end it and it doesnt record do u know why?
I've had some issues with OBS like that. I have no currently solution, I literally just tinker with it until something works lol.
You guys should sign up to fly for Susi Air. Build up to your 1500 hour mark as a captain, instead of as a CFI. Plus you get living expenses completely paid for.

my first ever arial game was thunderhawk 2 operation thunder on ps2 then over G fighters on xbox 360 that was pretty good apart from f35 hover mode ermmm. neber played ace combat before but will get ace combat 7 in ps4 afyer all I'd get to run more combat missions in the f22 than the 200 actual pilots lol
never tried a full sim with keyboard and mouse etc cos without a button template I'd loose my shit. I mean one bird strike and I'd rage quit ha ha

My dad is a retired pilot and since I was little, I have been literally obsessed with aviation...I'm 13 and I always stare at the skies and just look at 737's, 767, A320, CRJ's Etc....I somehow don't like military jets🙄...I'm more of an airliner guy

Excuse me Airforceproud95 but I'm having trouble installing VatSim. I purchased it online the other night for $69 dollars and downloaded the files but when I put it in my FS9 folder it doesn't work. :( Why is this? It looks like you're flying with VatSim on FS9 just fine! If this doesn't work within the next few days, I'm going to ask for a refund because so far it's definitely not worth the money! My mom told me I shouldn't have spent money on it in the first place but I just yelled at her and she said fine. Now I feel bad. Plz help. Thank you and have a nice day Airforceproud95.
