This is very accurate for bird owners. I literally just adjust to wherever my bird is and talk to her whenever.
Mine talks a lot when he wants, but most of the times I talk to him and get no answer bc yes. Only my father does lol

These parrots can utter words. I own lovebirds and they can speak "peakaboos" , their name "chipchip" and "towi". These one definitely can, although very limited.

This is a Lineolated parakeet. They are very sweet. Mine has since passed and I miss him so, but it warms my heart to see even one more person taking care of one.

I had one and he was the happiest litlle guy in the world. When I came home as a child he would go crazy until I played with him. I also lived in an apartment so there should be no problems.
it seems that they take the bird outside the cage often and spend a lot of time with them (his sister often posts about chippy) so I'm pretty sure the bird is happy :)

@@amberh3442 That is not true because a human can never replace a companion of its kind, no matter the attention given. You don't speak their language, you are not with them 24/7, you can't cuddle or play the way they do. There is a reason why these animals live in large flocks or groups. I wish people would stop justifying their egoistic actions and stop forcing their views onto other species determining what is right and what not. Birds are highly social as are rabbits and guinea pigs and require at least one partner. If you want to keep your pet solitary, get one that likes to be alone like a hamster.
@@amberh3442 Fair but he is an idol and they tend to have hectic schedules. Hopefully he has someone babysit his bird when he’s away. If birds don’t receive enough socialization, they either become aggressive or resort to self destructive tendencies (like feather plucking).

No Chipi is a parrotlet... they can be kept alone as long as you spend a lot of time with them
