I came across your video and i learned how to make your own foaming bath whip. this was outstanding.
Carmen hairstylist hat aww I’m glad you enjoyed this video and it came out great!! ☺️☺️
Absolutely great work
Nice!! Super kool!
I like your recipe I was wondering should I use the same percentage if I was to use the SLSA essay and the SCI in this recipe to make it more bubbly how do I make that happen.
hello, thank you for sharing this recipe ♥️, can I know what did you add at end of the video?
Hi do you mind sharing the measurements because it's no longer sold on esty ?
Love watching your Vids!
Seriouslynoseriously69 thanks I’ve been so lazy with uploading
@@youngandmakingittv353 I truly understand, putting one more thing on your plate to do is annoying at best! LOL you know my rule do what you can when you in between your me time!
Seriouslynoseriously69 exactly and I just got a puppy so I really have no time lol but I have a lot of new content
DIY Vanneh oh wow yeah a puppy sucks up a lot of your attention!
thank you u for sharing ,God bless from The netherlands
Thank you for sharing!
Awesome video but is there anything that could be added that to make it more sudsy? Please and thank you
Thorough breakdown of the ingredients! Awesome tutorial 👌 thank you for sharing 🙌🏾
Thank you so much!!!

Martryce the Artist definitely no hopefully I’ll upload soon lol just subscribed to you
@@youngandmakingittv353 lol I'll keep an eye out! Ttyl ✌🏾
🥲I just bought A DIY recipe should have searched here first! You got a new sub thanks
Aww thank you!! I hope you can still use the other one for something too!
Is it compulsory I whip it a day after or whip when I want to make a body scrub, just like taking little that I want to use and whip.... but not all at once?
Queen Precious you can whip it as long as it’s solid and if you want to use a little you just weigh it out for your scrub. That’s what I do with my new products
Hi! So I made this and your recipe was awesome, but upon settling (after coloring with mica) I noticed there are little white granules in the soap. I poked at them because I thought they were stearic acid but they have no texture. Did I cook this too long or what might I have done wrong?
You didn't dislove the stearic acid enough. Even when you think it's fully disloved.. heat it more! Stearic acid is tricky.
Hi I don't see the link where you bought from on etsy
Quick question: Is the preservative optional since its soap? Doesn't the water evaporate out like all other soaps?
_.tlf._ Hi, the preservative is not optional because water is directly included into the formulation. Since were using surfactants the process is different in compared to making real soap which is usually made with lye. Plus it’s always safer to add a preservative to a recipe with water in it.
Hello from Greece! how long do we let the soap base mature before using it? I am waiting for an answer soon. thanks
This process is not like making soap, so it can be used right after making it
When we will use it for foaming sugar scrub, should we added again a preservative ?
No you dont need to add it again
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great video. Did you leave it in the refrigerator overnight?
Bonita Mi_Amor no I just let it sit overnight to solidify!
@@youngandmakingittv353 ok thanks hun
Hi! I live in India and the temp here is 40-47° Celcius in summer. Will the whipped peaks stay in its form in this heat? Or will it melt and coagulate? Is there a way to keep its form even in extreme climates?
Yes it will lose its whipped form overtime.
Try adding some xanthan gum to stabilize the foam.
Hi I have a doubt. Don’t we have to use emulsifying wax if we use water based ingredients and add oil or butters in it?
not for this no
*stearic acid*
Hi can i use it for creamy soap or sugar scrub?
Yes this recipe is like a creamy soap and scrub
I’m a bit late to the party 😂 but what percentage of carrier oil do you use?? Thank you in advance!!
Honestly I forgot how much carrier oils I put it. But I’m assuming it was around 1-5% extra or you can adjust the whole recipe to accompany for the 5% oil. If that makes sense
How long can you keep the butter for if not using right away
Wherever you buy it they might tell you how long the expiration date is. I literally have so much shea butter and cocoa butter that’s been sitting I don’t know it I can use it.🤷🏾♀️
The link to the Etsy shop isn’t working
Its written in the recipe tht the Slsa can be replaced bt SCI. Did u ever tried it with SCI? And can u pur it in the microwave too for melting all?
I’ve never used SCI only bc it’s less accessible to find with quick shipping. I bought the Slsa on Amazon but SCI isn’t there. And you can put it in the microwave but you would have to be making a very small batch so that you’re not watching the microwave for so long, because you have to do it in burst. I hope that helps ☺️
@@youngandmakingittv353 Hi! SCI is on Amazon now.
Just subscribed😊😊
Queen Precious thank you!!
U knw the preservative is it any iol
Oil*
Can I used SLES instead of SLSa or SCI?
As long as it's a safe surfactant, I'm sure you can!
Can this be made without the stearic acid and using optiphen?
Maybe you could use emulsifying wax, the purpose off that it to make it thicker but you can experiment with it. And yes you can use optiphen
@@youngandmakingittv353 Thank you so much!
Is SLSA safe for the skin? I heard it’s not natural
SLSa is ecocert, derived from coconut and palm oils.
Can spring water work?
No, I recommend using only distilled water for any skincare recipe
Hey new subscriber here, was searching the recipe and saw this. Can’t find the recipe link. Can I use the recipe u mentioned here..
Send me a DM on Ig @thezsaridjavanneh and I’ll email it to you. The recipe isn’t available anymore
@@youngandmakingittv353 have done that.
What can I replace with slsa
Another powder surfactant like SCI
@@youngandmakingittv353 thanks
Just use her percentages and divide them into 100 and move the decimals to get the measurements into grams
Pls mention material list
Okay I can add it to the description later
Can you tell me the percentage of each ingredients please
Sahar Abdo Hi you’ll have to check the bio for the recipe because I bought it on Etsy and I don’t want her to lose out on her money. 🤗
@@youngandmakingittv353 I would love to buy the recipe but am on Africa Sudan and it's unavailable to buy anything online because of the visa card, can you send it to me by email and I a sure you am not gonna share it anywhere I just want to start small business for myself in Sudan

The small jar is from hobby lobby and the large container is from the dollar tree!

Put 2 gloves on so if its too oily you can change. Thanks for sharing.
Is it just me or is there no volume
It was better if you have told the amount of each ingredient too.
Jagroop kaur Because I bought this recipe online I didn’t want the seller to lose money. Check the description box for the link.
@@youngandmakingittv353 No problem dear I acn understand. but thank you for your quick reply.
This is creepy! I have the exact same equipment
Lol I’m sure we all have the same starting out
On label: Cocamidopropyl betaine, Triethanolamine and Cocamide DEA/MEA (and all the ingredients that end in 'DEA' or 'MEA'): these ingredients are contaminated by nitrosamines, a chemical known to have cancer-causing risks to humans named in the Proposition 65 list................... I always research ingredients I'm not familiar with and this I was not..........
Good video! But, FYI as a soap and cosmetics maker... We cant make money if we keep sharing everything and making it easy for everyone to do.
Goddess Luvology thank you and of course when I needed a video like this, other people like Yaya and Tara Lee made videos on it lol but I’m gonna start making videos on stuff I won’t sell
@@youngandmakingittv353 Same here I like watching other ppl make it. Just be careful with sharing stuff. Thank You Luv 💋
@@youngandmakingittv353 is it cheaper to make it or just buy the base?
Goddess Luvology it might just be cheaper to buy a base but there were certain ingredients in the ones I saw that I didn’t want to use so I opted to just make my own. But that would save me a lot of time lol
@@youngandmakingittv353 right. And I like that you can substitute more natural ingredients.
