Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe. I also went through the ingredients for the foaming bath whip. I had a question- one uses SLSa and the uses SCI. Can one be substituted for the other? Also is there a substitute for Cocobetaine? While buying cocobetaine is there a concentration that one needs to look out for? Thank you again!

Wonderful video. I just wanted to let you know that cocoamidopropyl betaine and coco betaine are two separate ingredients. I didn't know this until a few months ago, either. Most people don't, I did see it referred to as coco betaine on something at save on citric. Coco betaine was the first surfactant I ever bought and I thought I had purchased cocoamidopropyl betaine and that they just shortened the name on my bottle, lol. Coco betaine is more "natural" but cocoamidopropyl betaine is more mild. They are both amphoteric and have a similar ph. Anyways I am just trying to let everyone know when I see that they call cocoamidopropyl betaine coco betaine.
@@anonime9628 No, cocamidopropyl betaine is more mild. But when you combine surfactants, and use a smaller percentage of each you can make your formula more gentle. I definitely prefer cocoamidopropyl betaine over coco betaine.
Hi there! In the video you said you measure your liquid by volume but the directions on your website say everything is measured by weight and not volume. Which way is best?
Hii to make large production of this foaming bath butter I’m getting a problem. Lot of powder Chucks coming . To break manually it’s taking lot of time. I planned to invest a machine. But very confused 🤷♀️ which agitators is useful to break that lumps.planning a double boiler tank with attached mixing agitator.can you please please help for this. Which machine and agitator/mixer helps for this problem .🙏
One question that why have you mentioned Tetrasodium EDTA in grams but not in oz? is Tetrasodium EDTA preservative?IS Tetrasodium EDTA and cream de tartar is the same?
Hi there! In the video some ingredients are shown measured by volume and explain as such, but over on the recipe page provided in the description box it says to measure my weight NOT volume. Which should I follow?
So optiphen is added after all the ingredients for the base are dissolved. Then we can add carrier oils, fragrance, additives etc. Do we need to add more optiphen or not? Bcs surely adding more carrier oils and fragrance adds the weight?
Generally preservatives should be added once it has cooled sufficiently. Your preservative should have more information. I wait until it comes to room temperature.
It works but if you have a Magic Bullet or Coffee grinder that you have especially for Soap Making grind it into a powder so it's easier to melt. Don't use anything you'd use for food. You can always get a coffee grinder for things such as this that you ONLY use for soap or cosmetic making.

Hi, thanks for sharing this video. Can you please clarify measuring info for me? In the video you say to measure liquids by volume and dry ingredients by weight. In the written formulation you say to measure all by weight, which is what I do. Thanks so much!
Sheron Brewer hello I’m going to try and answer your questions To measure by volume means to measure how much space is needed for a certain measurement. If you have an empty box and you want to find out how many ounces you would need to fill that box up half the way you can figure out the ounces by multiplying the height by the width by the diameter (plz this is not exactly the multiplication formula of how to get the ounces but it’s similar I’m just trying to show an example). To measure by weight is just simply using a scale If you do not understand the measure by volume part go to google and type in What does it mean to measure by volume I hope this help you If you hit the drop box in this video she have a link you can hit and it gives you the completed recipe with all the measurements. Thank u.

Hi :) as far as I know, it’s usually a tad bit liquidish when it’s hot. It will prolly solidify once it’s cooled and you can whip it like how you would do with a whipped cream. Texture wise, mine with a slightly different recipe resembles a lot to a frosting
