H.P. Lovecraft's stories are always...unusual. This one is particularly so.

Our new releases continue to be demonetized by CZcams the moment they are made public (and in many cases, while they are still scheduled and not even released yet), for no apparent reason. See here: imgur.com/a/sE4ho
We have been forced to request "manual review" on every one of our new releases recently, even though 99.9% of the videos reviewed end up being cleared. CZcams has not taken these reviews into account, and continues to penalize us for absolutely nothing.
After requesting review, we are often forced to wait 3-4 days to have monetization re-enabled. By this time, most of our listeners have already tuned in, and the majority of our revenue has already evaporated.
We depend on revenue that CZcams and our supporters provide in order to continue releasing material and to proceed added incentive to our voice talent to remain a part of the team.
If you support what we do, please support us with a Patrons membership here: www.chillingtalesfordarknights.com/join-now/ Or sign up to support us with a specific dollar amount per new release on Patreon: www.patreon.com/chillingtales
Your support means everything to us, and allows us to offset the losses caused by CZcams's ridiculous new policies.

Oh wow, the curse of yig is crazy. His obsession and phobia of snakes made his wife insane with fear. It's crazy how technically the witch was indeed correct, he did die due to snakes, albeit indirectly, through his wife's fear. The end sounds like she was mutating in some fashion, but the part that gets me is that yig got more kids out of it. She never should have killed his children. While i assume she died from childbirth, I am stuck wondering what would of happened if she survived.

Jesse Walker It's hard to pick, as i love all of his works. But i think my favorites are in the walls of eryx, the tree, and the moon bog. The unnamable and ex oblivione are also really good.

My favorite Lovecraft collab. Not a huge fan of the narrator.

  • @jmg3116

I love Love Lovecraft but many of his works seem formulaic.
Start with a narrator telling us all that "what we're about to hear, no matter how fantastical and absurd is the truth my good sir!"
Then open with a over written explanation of said narrators journey to finding (whatever the stories about) Toss in some early 1900's casual racism. Narrator then finds whatever connects him to (some old one or monster) be it a book, manuscript, or letter or like here a horrible snake baby.
Then dive into the main story, like the sailors who find Cthulhu or the couple here, whatever.
End with a twist and make sure not everythings explained. The End.

Don't forget the10,000 points in scrabble level words, and lots of them...Ichor, funguous, etc. I like Lovecraft, but am amazed at the thesaurus load of vocabulary in his works.

Ascended scrabble words sound best with the correct voice for it. Cadence von Clegg does it the most justice
