Sir I was using the K & N filter for long time in my fortuner and got the turbo damaged and reverted to stock filter. Indian dust conditions are too much for this. I still have the total cleaning kit and K & N filter.
Amit, turbo damage does NOT happen due to dust or air filter. What oil was being used?

Sir mere pass i20 petrol ⛽️ h to stock replacements shi rhega ya ye wala stage 2 .....
Main per pose mileage and low And performance theek karna h ....
pradeep meena stage 2 se performance increase double hoga. SR mei itna nahi hoga. But I have stock replacement too in other cars. So effect is - better airflow, less service, easily cleanable.
I guess, it is not suitable for indian conditions. I have read in many forums especially in teambhp where people have not advised to use this.
Amit Singh let them advise what they want to. There’s nothing called Indian condition.
Been using for 15 years now.
If a proper Air filter wash takes 5 hours, service centers are returning the car itself in 5-6 hours. God only knows what they do in Service centers
karthick subramanian sir they are not supposed to service K&N. they use simple paper air filters which have to be replaced.
Sir k&N filters ki wajh se sir Mileage drop hota hoga na..... because air flow badte hi ECU flue supply badha deta h ....🤔🤔
pradeep meena sir agar aap higher end use karenge car ka to drop hoga. Lower end mei increase hoga. Mid end mei no change.
Baaki air supply girti nahi hai isme. So overall its a mileage improvement or say no change.
