Installing and Creating an Oracle Database 19c on Linux 7

In this tutorial, I will demonstrate how to install and create an Oracle database 19c on Linux 7 on a virtual machine. It will be a CDB database, without Oracle ASM (Restart services).

If you had problem on putty with access denied.
1) Edit sshd_config file with command "nano /etc/ssh/sshd_config" or "vi /etc/ssh/sshd_config"
them change the line "#PermitRootLogin prohibit-password" to "PermitRootLogin yes" (no #).
2) Restart ssh service "sudo systemctl reload sshd" (execute without trying connect with putty, close it first)
3) You can check with "systemctl status sshd"

Hi sir, I get network connection error. Also I am not able to copy the oracle 19c software zip file from windows to linux using winscp. Its saying "host is not communicating for more than 15 seconds". Please help on this issue.

Thank you sir... I downloaded Linux as per your video and tried to install Database 19c.. But I am getting following error while running ./runinstaller - [oracle@orcl db_1]$ ./runInstaller
ERROR: Unable to verify the graphical display setup. This application requires X display. Make sure that xdpyinfo exist under PATH variable.
No X11 DISPLAY variable was set, but this program performed an operation which requires it.

Can you please guide me how to fix this error...

Hey Ahmed, step 31 isnt working for me. keeps telling me cannot find or open the file.
cannot find or open /media/sf_staging/LINUX.X64_193000_db_home.zip, /media/sf_staging/LINUX.X64_193000_db_home.zip.zip or /media/sf_staging/LINUX.X64_19 3000_db_home.zip.ZIP.
