Fantastic interview! ... Tong proving he knows his stuff .. great job thanks.
brilliant!
My favorite pop song ever is Frankie Goes To Hollywood's "Maximum Joy" (from album 'liverpool')
I love the extra and less played content from Slave to the Rythm; can't remember which alternative vinyl version it was on. There are some really beautiful instrumental loops, sequences and stereo field bits. It was one of those rhythms, like Tears for Fears' Everyone Wants to Rule the World, that was emulated, but never bettered, countless times.
The Art of Noise...I think their stuff was brilliant, l love Close to the Edit...GREAT stuff!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a hero! Never produced anything Pete _Tong_ since he was Trevor _Horn._
Pete Tong. Still paying the same old record For some people, the unquestioned self-confidence ,and of the ‘me-first’ values of 80s and 90s will never die Trevor Horn on the other hand, always modest and gracious. Regardless of fashion
11:25 Grace Jones conversation starts . . . . if like me that's all you want to hear.
Horn would have turned the volume up.
i need a poo right now...who else needs one i can't be the only one
I'll have to check my diary and see if I needed a poo 1 year ago.
British recording studios are dying, British manufacturing and farming are dying, all Britain creates is IP and everything is owned by foreign interests. I don't believe in countries competing in the global market; they should have loyalty first to their own citizens and businesses. You don't treat your neighbours better than your own family.
