We had the same issues with the spinner & chopper disengaging. They have an updated hub for the spinner. The new style might be on your 780. You can turn the old style into new with a chop saw in about 20 seconds.
For the two speed chopper, I made a bracket that covers the plunger and fastens between two of the hub bolts. Keeps the plunger from popping into neutral. Clear as mud😊

How much average of corn per acre
Why 22" rows? You don't raise sugar beets!
We are in sugar beet country and it’s a lot easier to source 22 inch equipment. Also, the narrower rows seem to do better.
