Hello I'm Esther. I'm deaf and almost 25. I'm non binary and lesbian. As kid, I was watching at kids playing around and girl fall down. She got hurt. It makes me feel like I want become knight instead of princess. In middle school, I found out girl can like another girl and it made me feel very happy that I realized I don't have to date only boys. My whole family already know about that and let me be myself

I came out as gay to my parents when I was 17. My parents already knew that I was gay since I was a child. They finally accepted and loved me. I was so lucky.

David your story is very awe inspiring..... I don't want you to think that I am being judgemental, but we are still fighting for our rights today and I am thankful that my family accept me for who I am and what I am... David back in the 90's were almost similar to yours cuz the 90's was a time of struggle and starting to open up.... I came out at the age of 10 to my family and they were not sure if I am being confuse or just simply investing in my own true feelings... I had to go through psychatrist (however you spell it)... but the point is that I am proud to be who I am and I am never ashamed of what I am today.....
    Be in peace brother,
    Howard

Thank you for sharing your story. You are very lucky in so many ways. A lot of us didn’t have the support you had and many of us wound up homeless and in bad shape. I’m so happy you had support and confidence that led you to be happy and satisfied with who you are. Good story 🙏🩷🙏

Thank you David for your insight and your backstory. Nice to see an energetic advocate for the gay ASL agenda. You are wise and fearless to have survived the early days of uneducated and narrow minded people. Thank goodness for your parents and their acceptance of your gifts. We need more people from all generations to be a little more open minded. Again...thank you for your example of a positive successful ASL member.....Congratulations!!!

You said that you are struggling..of course you struggle because you are doing things aren't right things to do just like people are struggling with Drugs.. ..I could say that I was born to be Drugs lover 😅.. no ... I made this stupid choice.. people can struggling with eating disorders... I can say that I'm fat because that who I am and I identify that myself as a heavy flapping belly ?? Exactly! Being LGBT is your decision have nothing to do it's just happened..many young couples are saying..OOPS I'm pregnant or OOPS I got her pregnant..again it's their stupid decision to make ..did you get it???
