as I am watching Anna's video I want to write some things from my also 30s experience on this earth:
    - Do not chase men. Remember you are the prize, not the other way around.
    - Focus on yourself and on your future. Education, courses etc. Something that will give you money and secure your future.
    - Do not be mens' psychologist. If you decide to babysit man with personal problems you are giving him free psychological consultations and they are specialists for that, it is not your role. You are neither his mother nor psychologist
    - Do not go 50/50. If you are living with him and going 50/50, this is not partnership, you are roommates.
    - Do not let men gaslight you. Example? 'oh, you are overreacting'. No, you are not, this is your reaction which is appropriate to the situation you are in.
    Take care ladies.

We just need more of this kind of comments. I'm almost 20 years old & I'm SO afraid to set "extreme" boundaries with men (I've never had any relationship with a man yet) like 50/50 payment when we go out. I'm actually afraid that I have not or wont have the chance to have a high caliber man in my life (not necessarily rich)

@@konstantina5217 It is better to be single and treat yourself well than to be with a man who does not treat you with respect. A lot of people who are afraid of being by themselves (especially men who are interested in you but don't meet your standards) will try to tell you otherwise. Don't waffle. Don't accommodate. Don't settle. If something is important to you and not to him, he's not the one. It's not a judgement on his value as a person. It just is what it is. Protect your heart, and protect your time! ❤️

"Use your nicest things at all times" is probably the best piece of advice Anna has ever given me. I'm always afraid to wear my nice clothes because I think I need to keep them for "special occasions" (this is also how my parents educated me), and the result is that they always stay in my closet unused. Hearing Anna say it was linked to a poor person's mindset is a breakthrough and it makes so much sense, like when people used to wear their nice clothes only on Sundays for church lol.

I really enjoyed this video, so happy to see you sharing with women such positive lifestyle choices. May I offer my perspective from nearly 60 years on this earth-- things I wish I had known when I was just becoming an adult:
    1. Be ok with being alone. There is a huge difference between NEEDING a man and WANTING a man. Don’t settle.
    2. You have to be happy in your own skin before you can be happy in a relationship. Focus on your education and establishing your career. Learn to manage your finances and your life and to stand on your own two feet as an independent woman FIRST. The confidence you gain will project to the world, and in turn, make you more and more attractive.
    3. You don’t need as much stuff as you think you do. Nobody needs ten eyeshadow palettes. A lot of stuff just drags you down. A lot of times we think quantity is as satisfying as quality- but it isn’t. It’s so much more satisfying and joyful to have ONE perfect thing, than five ok ones. And like Anna said, use your best things and enjoy them.
    4. Be mindful of this thing about men-- you cannot change them. I don’t mean little quirks- we all have those. I mean the big stuff, the red flags. Men are on their best behavior when dating-- marrying them won’t change them. Make sure you are happy with your man AS IS before committing.
    5. You’re not his mommy. There is a difference between caring for your partner and babying him. The more you baby him, the less of a man he’ll be in your eyes.
    6. Always take care of yourself first. Eat healthfully, exercise, take care of your skin, hair, nails, etc. Get enough sleep. Save your money. Always be learning. All of the things Anna teaches for being classy and elegant. Invest in yourself.

Just remember, dont tell a therapist anything you would not want used against you in court.
No law in the USA will prevent your therapist from testifying against you if they want to. The law allows them to refuse to testify if they wish to preserve client confidentiality, but if they want to testify, the client is powerless to stop them.
It happened to me, in family court. Don't let it happen to you. As a result, I will not recommend therapy to anyone.
Fortunately the judge in the case was not impressed and I won the case.
But just remember, just because someone is a licensed therapist doesn't mean they are trustworthy!

I never ask a client to do something I haven't already done on myself, including getting my own therapy for my own personal growth and development. Search until you find a practitioner whom you resonate with because the relationship is extremely important to your ultimate success in reaching the goals you have for your growth and development, your healing, and your overall self-confidence and well-being. Women put up with low-class men way too many times and don't say no because they don't want "to be awkward" or to have the man lose his interest.

I (traditional feminist) recently spoke to my best friend (modern feminist) about what kind of guy we described as “perfect”. And one of my boundaries were “He has to be able to drive”. My friend was shocked. She said “I can drive myself, what if he gets annoyed that he has to pick me up all the time?” And then I was shocked “If a man thinks that picking you up is an inconvenience and that you aren’t worth enough to be picked up when he wants some of >>your

Leave him just bc he is human? I think we should have expectations but come down from the high horses once in a while. Id totally drive if my man for some reason cant.

I think the more obvious response from a modern feminist is why isn't he worth your time to share the workload? Like you can both pick eachother up if you both drive? You should both want to do for eachother regardless of if that is you cook&clean and he works or you both work and both drive. Doesn't really matter end of day its just division of labour in a relationship. I agree with you that your partner shouldn't see anything you have to do for eachother as an inconvenience. That relationship will be doomed

It’s so important that you bring this message about boundaries. I see many woman mistaking this whole new idea of being ‘’a free woman, that can exercise her power of having casual relationships and casual sex’’ with what it’s REALLY what she wants. It’s like we are being thought that we should be liberal and that is the only way that woman can be happy and feel validated. Stop for a minute and think: are those new standards really what you want in your life ? Also, ladies, if guys are treating you in manners that you disapprove, it’s BECAUSE YOU ARE LETTING THEM DO IT. Set your limits and speak those up from the beginning. Make clear statements of what you are looking for in that relationship. That will save you both time and energy, so you can focus on men that can actually give you what you feel like you deserve.

Setting boundaries is the most important thing. I also call it "having certain standards". The more boundaries I set the better people I attract (in general not necessarily romantic partners because I'm already married). Don't accept people talking to you like a little girl, don't accept it when the conversation stirs in a direction that you don't like, don't let people touch you without your permission. Be a "bitch" if you have to because in the end you will win. Either the dusty people will leave you or they will change their behavior.

Point #7 is so so good. I'm the type who finds it hard to say no to friends (males & females alike) but not when it comes to courting. I've had plenty of guys in my life who took advantage of that, after I've tried accommodating in terms of friends they would take it further each time, pushing boundaries, attempting to change by subtly gaslighting or insulting my traits, guilting me into relationship, etc. However I was never the type who hesitates cutting off toxicity nor am I afraid of being alone. When these guys sensed that I was beginning to not feel afraid of drawing my boundaries it seriously turns the table & they'd turn 180 degrees from guilt tripping into respecting
People, don't the let desperation change you into something you're not. You're worth much better than guys who take advantage of you, & Anna has pointed that out. *Thank you so much Anna for stressing this point!*

Thank you, Anna. Yes, I missed you. I agree with everything you said and especially the last one. The setting boundaries with men, this is so important for women to learn, men need to to value you, as a human being and treat you with respect and not take you for granted or just run over you, or talk over you. Even if you have been married to someone for a very long time, like I have, every once in a while, I have to stand my ground and put my foot down and tell my husband to clean up his language and address me with respect. Just a few weeks ago, my husband said "I am sorry" after I told him about his language and behavior. That doesn't happen to often. But it is worth it just to get their attention, so they realize that you are a human being too, just like them and they need to respect who you are. When I was dating, there was a lot of boundaries with men I dated, because I never needed anyone of them. I was happy being single, happy with my friends and family, happy with my studies and job and happy when I traveled and did my own things, my own hobbies and interests. You have to "Bring something to the table" as a women when you date, or when you marry. A man can not be your entire life and should not be in charge of your own happiness.

Actually many people that are a lot into meditation have a guru with whom they end up doing therapy, in order to develop further. Because people need someone with whom to speak to about the things they tap into during their meditations.

@@nadine7327 I think that therapy is a great tool to use in combination with meditation, only if it works well for the individual. I didn't state anything about therapy, but I must respectfully disagree with your statement. I think that in many cases, meditation has aspects to it that therapy can never heal nor replace and it isn't necessarily the 'best' thing to combine the two together. Here's why. (I'm sorry that this will be a long response.)
First, I must clarify that the meditation I was referring to does not require the assistance of any gurus nor people. I think there are misconceptions and stereotypes in the general community about meditation. When people think of meditation, they often refer to the practices of calming your breath/listening to music/centering your mind etc. that are sometimes being 'taught' in classes/courses. If this is the type of meditation that you were referring to in your comment, I'm sorry but this wasn't what I was alluding to.
The meditation I practice solely involves being aware and present in the moment, without any judgement. It is similar to the type of meditation that many (sometimes ancient) religious and spiritual practitioners use before meditation was introduced to the world (mostly to the Westernized countries). I'm not sure if you're familiar to what this meditation entails, but I use it to align the different aspects of myself. The best way I can described it is the aligning of the mind, body and soul, but slightly more than that.
There are many reasons why I think that therapy isn't always a great combination with meditation (especially the one I practice). The main one being I view meditation as introspection free from any external influence. Combining therapy (which involves the input of another person) takes away from this deeply personal experience and the input from others can influence how you feel/view and align yourself. I personally believe that an individual can still 'grow' without the need to share their own experiences with others. Additionally, there are profound spiritual progress that you can have with meditation that isn't always present in therapy (this might not make sense if you're not into/practicing spirituality).
Both therapy and meditation are amazing tools for self-development and self-awareness. But I think it's a bit naive to think and generalize that therapy is better with/than meditation, especially when the type of meditation I'm referring to is something different. I hope that I've properly explained my stance (and I apologize for anything that may come across as offensive - they're unintentional).

Ever since I started my self growth journey and watching your videos, I am constantly challenging myself to achieve higher and higher. Tip #7 has me nodding enthusiastically! I really examined myself after the workshop and reevaluated my boundaries with others, myself and men and Anna I am not kidding this has been the BIGGEST change in my life. The way men react to me has absolutely done a 180 degree turn. I stopped being a “yes” girl and accommodating their schedules and timelines and kept myself less available and constantly evaluated my words with the words “be yourself and remove desperation from the scenario” and it has changed so much for me. Thank you so very much for changing things for me. Forever changed. ❤️

    This is great.
Because of my tight budget, and weight problem,
I used to think I couldn't go beyond putting effort into my hair and makeup, and that was about as far as I could go in the area of self improvement, but now I feel so much more hope for being able to make more positive changes to make life better.
    Oprah once said
you are where you are in life because of what you believe.
    It's so true.
If you believe you are limited, you will be limited.
You have to have hope, and a plan to go along with it.
I used to be a cosmetology instructor.
I was amazed at how much time and effort went into creating a lesson for my students, but I felt it was worth it, so I know first hand how much effort is going into these lessons.
Even as a commercial truck driver, this type of advice has helped me with income.
    For instance.
A freight broker picks up the phone and calls a dispatcher and tells the dispatcher that they have a shipment, but it is for a very important and wealthy customer.
This customer is a millionaire or a billionaire and so it needs to be a driver that is not going to be off-putting, rude, unkempt, and smelly. This delivery could go to a movie star's house, or the studio of a famous billionaire rapper.
So if a driver has a good reputation for being well-groomed and polite, that driver is going to get these types of good paying loads.
In some cases, the driver even gets to meet the affluent customer, which can also be fun and uplifting.
Just goes to show you that no matter what you do in life, putting effort into yourself will pay off in ways that will surprise you and enrich your life.
You are such a sweetheart to create these lessons and master classes at such an affordable cost.
Thank you for all the time and effort you put into these lessons.

T Tephi Hi, most importantly you want to avoid people inserting their opinions of decisions you need to make to better your life. The benefit of a secret is that if things don’t work out (whatever your goal may be) only you will know that. Also over sharing can be a sign of low self esteem and needing constant validation. Sometimes you have to do things and let the results speak for itself. ❤️

Preach it Anna. These things are so important. From small things to big things, these all have a place. Counseling helps short term and long term. At a couple of points in my life I went to counseling because either I was questioning my goals in life or there was a specific event that happened in my life that was a little too big to handle on my own. I was so glad I was open enough to seek help. Paying attention to detail is something I have trouble doing but if you do, it will so add to your life! I have received a special card or even a post card from a friend and that little detail was so special to me. Being thoughtful, planning out events and outfits and even the way one is to act can really have an impact. Even if it is making sure your shoes are nice and clean. If we value ourselves, men will value us too. Make them work for it. Unfortunately young women do not know how to be valued or to value themselves. They give themselves too easily with little regard to the most important thing in their lives. Once that is gone, it is gone. Setting lifestyle goals will help us to plan our lives so we do not have to worry about a man who will take care of us. If we choose something we love to do and make it our life's work, We can move easily in whatever society we come across. Make your dreams into goals and go for it. You just may reach them.
