I've looked at so many bags and to me, Lone Rider has the best bag system out there, The fact that is, which I didn't know, you can attach the bags to my OEM BMW R1250 GSA racks without any attachment plate is outstanding! I love that, Just attach them right to the bars. Beautiful!

I used to use duffle bags strapped to the back of all my bikes. Hate hard bags. On my next GS I'll have to give these a much closer look.

@@kristomab Yes correct. They are amazing. The bags are already waterproof, but the insert makes them double waterproof and easier to take with you if you go to hotel.

The rackless ones are so nice! i still don't understand why it would not fit on the F850GS Trophy edition... the variosystem looks exactly the same as all the other F850GS's

Do the Motobags hold up on off road adventures??
Any recommendations on cleaning the bags and keeping them black? I have seen similar bags turn a bleached gray if you will. Seriously considering this set up. But I want to keep them as new looking as possible.

if you attach the bag to the passenger foot peg support, can the passenger still rest her feet?
Of course, the MotoBags will not interfere with the passenger footpegs

Are these bags (the rackless system) also available for the GS Adventure 2008?
Unfortunately not, they are designed for the Liquid Cooled version (from 2013/2014)

Are the rackless models compatible with a 2008 1200gs? Im in need of new luggage and these look awesome!
as far as I know the bmw rackless cases have been changed as well with the introduction of the liquid cooled GS, so pretty sure the lonerider rackless system won't fit and there would have to be a separate version for the older style of mounting points
Can the locks be coded to the main BMW key?

There are advantages but overall they look a nightmare to open & close so the convenience of top loading is virtually completely gone.
