Sometimes, this can get tricky with vaulted ceilings because the wall may not go up as high on another wall in the room. However, because we went up as high as we could, which was about four inches from the ceiling on all walls, it appeared uniform throughout.
And it will glide better! I know you just put the curtains up but perhaps you can move the rod up instead of hemming them. Getting them hemmed is expensive unless you can sew
Floor to ceiling, try making a custom valance for the ceiling to meet the drapes! It can still be light and elegant and it will solve your problem with out having a major cost of custom drapery.
Love it! I sew blackout material on tje back which makes them heavy and feel luxurious but blocks out the heavy sun to keep the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter to reduce heating and cooling costs.
For that width and height and if you are going to open and close on a regular basis you should use a traversing rod to open and close more easily. The pockets on those drapes at that height are going to be hard on a daily use. Looks great! Nice for Amazon and a buget!
This could be my home! 😮 my ceilings 23' high and windows are 10' high 3 sets of 10'x 7'. I have pure cotton muslin (looks like yours!) but I also have Roman blinds.

I read it was triple. I followed that rule & still felt additional panels would've been nice. The luxury of dressing these huge windows is expensive. This is not a purchase most people will change seasonally. I advise a neutral color that can complement your decor should you decide to implement changes in the future.
Hook a long rod to the top of the drapes so that you can open and close them with that instead of grabing the cloth. Also a string cut to the width of the shut panels and atteched at regular intervals at the tops on the back, will even out the gathers when the drapes are closed.

That was the right move, curtains should go as high as possible on the shortest wall, then all the taller walls match the short wall

Looks good but usually the transom is left uncovered like above the door. It’s a design element to add light and take advantage of vaulted ceilings.
Hi. They sell these remote controlled curtain openers that might come in handy for windows that high. I think they're about $60 on Amazon.
I like curtains that pull down, from the top, rather the pull up from the bottom. This gives privacy and LOTS of light.

How do you mount curtain rods without anchors? Did you find stud for some of the brackets?

I think a ceiling track, when the ceiling isn't flat, will present new problems.
With the blinds to control the light when you want to watch TV.
