Funny thing I always keep mines in performance mode and still able to use ray tracing. I think those settings are broken like for example when I play spider-man performance rt mode I still have ray tracing even in fidelity mode. And I never changed my ps5 settings from performance mode at all.

Probably depends on what game, newer games for ps5 all have rt enabled because it's the norm nowadays. Didn't exist back on ps4 games.
