@@jevonchan2297 lmao idc rasp, distortion however you call it IT WAS GOOOD đđ„ and don't start with that vocal damage bs plsâ lmao we didn't ask for it. she sounds healthy & is obviously intentionally adding these stylistic sounds in for effect and does a remarkable job with it! she doesn't even overdo it to the extent that it would sound damaging or unhealthy, just the perfect amount đ„° pleasing to the average, untrained ear and adds quite the depth to the emotion of the song. a true performer!
and sir, Ari is always very conscious about her vocal health & technique and is a VOCAL GOD herself. she knows what she's doing, trust me â€

Tribalism is a massive problem in this country. There are people that will not hear a word of criticism. You have obnoxious parents that won't support teachers they choose their badass kids. There are people that won't acknowledge the shortcomings of their political party. There are people that won't acknowledge shortcomings of law enforcement/religious institutions/military. You can be in support of something or someone while still acknowledging that they aren't perfect and there's room for improvement.
One good thing to come from this pandemic is that singers have been able to give their voice a rest and are sounding incredible!

the acoustic opening, understated instrumentals, her pitch is incredible. the lyric is as 'real feeling' as it gets. not knowing if "she" is worthy of so "deep" a love from a special someone. And she is "telling a story" that may or may not be completely autobiographical.

Just discovered your channel and impressed with your long list of reactions/critiques to some of the best artists of today, but surprised there's not one for who many consider to be the GOAT, and who vocalists like Ariana, Celine, Mariah, and Kelly to name a few (Ariana and Celine have even dueted with her), have all claimed to idolize and were inspired by: Barbra Streisand. Barbra's 60 year career is mind blowing: the only artist to have a number one album in SIX consecutive decades! Her voice has stood the test of time and she herself is a masterclass on how to not only interpret a lyric, but how vocal calisthenics is not always needed to impress. And you never can't understand one word she says; a rarity today imo. Her catalogue is massive and you can't miss on any performance, but here's a live one of "Over The Rainbow" performed at her home for a benefit concert in her backyard in 1986. Hope you'll expose your listeners to this once in any generation artist.
