I kind of like that they are leaned forward. I've seen so many of these, and I get that this is a professional interview, but the chairs are unnaturally far apart. Like 4-6" off of where normal friends would sit, which is what the producers seem to be going for.

But in interviews he seems so shy, humble and down-to-earth, he’s doesn’t consider himself a genius, he’s constantly surprised by his own fame and sheer amount of the support and love from his fans. He laughs and blushes whenever anyone compliments him, like he can’t believe that anyone could be impressed by him. He geeks out, freaks out, and is so passionate over stuff he loves and he makes the most of every moment, it’s so beautiful. I adore that he comes alive when he’s being engaged with thought-provoking material, he’s a master wordsmith and everything has the potential of becoming a creative moment.
Stefani started off almost...stiff and masked and "professional", but as Lin kept talking, she slowly got more genuine and realized she could relax around him. I love it. 😊
Lin-Manuel & Gaga: two very imperative voices of our time. They have revolutionized performance art in a way that may be difficult to deconstruct completely. but is very easy to enjoy. I'm so glad they were paired up, best 51 minutes of my week.

However, I have to say I’m about a third through the conversation and it is not one of my favorite actors on actors. The discussion of their characters and the work the did on their respective films, ie the actual acting, is not particularly compelling or fascinating to me. I’d much rather listen to someone like Cate or Viola who will delve a lot deeper and discuss the craft of acting in a much more sophisticated way. Listening to these two talk about music though is another story entirely. 👍🏾
Lady Gaga can sing anything from pop to jazz, she's a great performer, she writes her own songs and music, she plays the piano and the guitar, and now she's shown us that she can act, too. She's the greatest artist of our generation, easily.
I completely agree. I think she'll win Best Actress and Best Song at the Oscars, plus Grammys this year for "Shallow" (the only eligible ASIB thing this year) and many nominations for the Soundtrack next year.
I’m a fan of Gaga’s music but what really strike me is how she grow and thrive as a true artist who is so authentic, vulnerable, charismatic and talented. Her eyes are so siren and dreamy when she talks I’m truly in awe.

Lin is a genius because he LISTENS to people with his whole soul. You can see how attentive he is with everything. He hears, he analyse and then he creates. The same thing with Gaga. Thats why this is so interesting, both of them are really smart and creative people.

This is easily one of my favourites. The questions they're asking each other are so deep and elicit such thought provoking answers, instead of the generic "how did you get this job?" or "Oh you got to work with so and so director, what was that like?" from other actors on actors videos.

I was never crazy about lady Gaga until I saw a star is born. I saw it 3 times in theaters and I have so much respect for her. I knew she was going to be an amazing singer but her acting was so natural and authentic. She is confident and intelligent and passionate about what she does. I’m so amazed by how much she has grown and how much she has accomplished. I really hope she wins an Oscar because she so deserves it or at least the movie wins an oscar. Every time I see Lady Gaga, or hear her speak, I have this huge smile on my face. I guess when I look at her I know, that could be me. I love her because of the absolute and honest passion she has for the arts, but especially for the people she creates it for. I also know that she is not perfect and is fallible like the rest of us, but I will nod to her today with deep respect for trying to be an inspiration to any and all who needs it, for using the platform she was given to promote mental health and keep kindness alive. I just watched Lin get his star on the Hollywood walk of fame, live streamed on Variety. He's such a humble, down to earth guy and to watch him fan boy over Weird Al was the best!
Gaga is a legend already. But... her acting skills aren't comparable to other Oscar winners. Maybe if she could take lessons and work on that more. But for the present moment I don't see that Oscar coming.
Lots of respect for her ethical work, she will be remembered for this, she really is a model in the industry and I hope she will inspire more and more people to follow her path

I was never crazy about lady Gaga until I saw a star is born. I saw it 3 times in theaters and I have so much respect for her. I knew she was going to be an amazing singer but her acting was so natural and authentic. She is confident and intelligent and passionate about what she does. I’m so amazed by how much she has grown and how much she has accomplished. I really hope she wins an Oscar because she so deserves it or at least the movie wins an oscar. And if her and Bradley sing shallow live that’s going to be amazing. Congratulations lady Gaga and I can’t wait to see what comes next in your life ❤️

This is why musical theatre should be taken just as seriously as regular theatre or cinema, and not just relocated to "kidsy tripe" like so many people are wont to do. It's deep and emotional. Just because it isn't hyper-realistic doesn't mean it isn't true, in the acting sense. I love this so much, I can't fully describe how happy I am.
Every time I see Lady Gaga, or hear her speak, I have this huge smile on my face. I guess when I look at her I know, that could be me. I love her because of the absolute and honest passion she has for the arts, but especially for the people she creates it for. I also know that she is not perfect and is fallible like the rest of us, but I will nod to her today with deep respect for trying to be an inspiration to any and all who needs it, for using the platform she was given to promote mental health and keep kindness alive. Kindness heals. Kindness is what seperates us from the mindless animals who has lost their conscience. So to all of her haters, SHE WAS BORN THAT WAY!!!!

Their common interests. They have to work together. I've always had respect for lady Gaga but have never been a huge fan but wow. She won me over here. They both have so much to offer the world. I love her look. She doesn’t look like all the other pop stars or young “starlets” that look like they came out of the same mold. She is beautiful in such and odd way and I mean that as a compliment. I haven’t followed her career but I think I need to pay more attention. I’ve been following Miranda for a long time, he seems like such a genuine guy. Loved this.
