Judging from part 1 only, the only good part is the car chase. I don't know what's happened to TVB. Old classic dramas were so much better, they haven't built on that success at all. This was like watching a B movie. The acting the fight scenes were sub standard. If this is the pinnacle of HK TV drama then it's fallen quite far from grace from the 80,90s golden era. Back then they had something uniquely HK, less complicated but completely digestible. I guess bad directors have a lot to do with it.
