Quick tip, under cut your treated plate part way thru the door opening before standing up your wall so you don't have to run your reciprocating blade into the concrete. Also a partition wall in a basement that is installed to tall (tight) can take the load off your foundation and direct the load unto a possibly week floor or even worse allow shifting of your foundation from external forces

For something like this I go metal studs all the way. You can “piece in” wall parts as you go and no need to keep sawing something, a pair of metal clippers in your pouch and you’re good to go. Also, you can cut a 10 stud (or more) bundle at one time.

Another little trick is to leave the end studs out until the will is up then install them. This way it will not drag along the other stud walls or concrete walls when your trying to raise it.

Wish I had done the thing where we leave the bottom plate in. Oof.
