The 300 is gonna be the best gun for bear and moose grinding
probably for any grind upwards of class 4 to make the animals die instantly instead of having to track. Fallow and whitetail this thing is probably gonna be the go to now.

Thare going to be better than the .300 magnum or can kill búfalo 🐃 or it’s a small caliber whan you short then it takes of points for not using the Rivne caliber

It’s actually a very underrated gun as they tried to accommodate the average .45-70 load into the game, given the cartridge has a 100 grain difference in loads

The main place where they messed up with the 45/70 was the range. Right along with the 30/30. The blackpowder balls should have had the 82 yard zero. Then the blackpowder mini-ball should have exceeded that by approximately 50 yards. As far as penetration the 45/70, 454 and the bows are the only weapons in the game that remotely close to RL. Whoever put the 218 yard zero on the blackpowders. Is out of their minds. A modern blackpowder is definitely capable of 218 in the right hands. But that's definitely not the center of the arch! Lol! Sorry Casey. This was meant for @henryhughs. Lol! You can definitely tell I'm paying attention to what I'm doing today. Sorry!

@dereksteele2284 the 300 does everything I need it to do I can kill moose out past 350 and they don't run 100 yards
@nathanlantz1737 it doesn't for me. They always run past 100 yards if it's lucky to get enough penetration. And the buffalo, if they are over 150 yards away, the 300 hardly ever gets enough penetration to hit a vital, and the 338 is the same way, especially after the last update. In real life, a 300 wouldn't be legal to even hunt cape buffalo. The game designers also have alot of calibers confused

Can you create an alternative for Ranger .243? A rifle, for grades 2-6 but with good penetration? I love this rifle for its range from coyotes to deer and the ability to assemble long-range equipment from 1st to 9th grade without backpacks (Virant+243+300+ RazorBlack). But I want something new. Really.
And more. Will there be weapon bipods in the game? =)
To ensure maximum stability of the sight over long distances. For balance, you can make them have a small angle of rotation of the barrel. Plus, make a long installation in place in 2-3 seconds. Just don't make the weight 2 kg. Bipods don't weigh that much.
@haraidon Yeah, I've been wanting bipods or shooting sticks for so long. Or even a mechanic that lets you nearby objects for support to steady your aim like a lot of FPS games have.
@haraidon I usually carry the Zagan Varminter .22-250 (Classes 2-4) and the Malmer 7mm Magnum (Classes 4-9), and a .22LR pistol for Class 1. That covers everything, but you do need to make good shots (preferably at no more than 150m) or be prepared to walk at the higher end of the Class range.

@@TheHunter22COTW the gun doesnt affect the effectiveness of the bullet, both guns use the same ammo, therefore same penetration and expansion, the only difference can be accuracy, recoil, hipshot, mag size and reload speed
for example if a .243 is fired at 100 metres at the same spot, it will do the same damage no matter if it was fired from the .243 bolt action rifle or the .243 handgun

Yep, guns we have plenty of already, really...can't believe a new map is taking THIS long. Really disappointing.

I’ve been using the 10ga semi and it seems slower compared to the brass shells lever action 10ga I think it needs a update on upping the velocity for the birdshot.

where do u see 1-4 ? the shotgun is 1, 4-9. like any other shotgun...u can put birdshot or buckshot
@@dagg310 You are not exactly right with that 10 gauge. It goes 1,4-7,6-9. But as far as the other shotguns go. With the 16-12 gauges. They go 1, 2-4, 4-8. With the 410 it's just 1.

Yeah, if this is the new map cadence now going forward (literal dripfeed), then I can guarantee you my mates and I will play this game a LOT less this year. We like the regular map releases of the past. We've already stopped playing since around November, when we realized no new map was coming any time soon. Moved on to other games.

This looks like a lot of fun! I gotta ask tho can you PLEASE make the Hudzik muzzle-loader shoot from classes 4-8 for Round Ball and 5-9 for Minie balls? It takes down Class 9s better than the .308/.300 and it honestly feels like it does more damage than the elephant gun.

338 was supposed to rival the 300 but it's less powerful. 338 shoulda been buffed before putting out a new power pack.
AR 300 will probably just be another underperforming gun like the 338

the .300 AR, like all ARs in the game, it will probably have 5 rounds aswell, not sure about the shotgun though, I hope atleast 5 aswell
