- Forest Temple from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in a somewhat different version that still stays true to the original in many ways. Who dares enter the abandoned fortress?

What makes this temple unique is that it's not really a religious site. It's an old castle/mansion haunted by ghosts.
Its of religious/ spiritual importance to the forest dwellers as noted by Saria
@@Bigboss192x Yes, but the original structure wasn't built as a temple.
@@Bigboss192x The forest dwellers didn't build it. They just found it.
Imagine if society collapsed and the White House was found by rat people or whatever who had no idea what it was originally for and used it as a church, and you have an idea what's going on in the Forest Temple.
@@Z-Man7 I like the theory that it was originally a castle that was home of the original forest sage, and the poe sisters are all the original Forest, Fire, Water and Shadow sages who were killed in the temple. Only the Spirit sage was able to hide in the desert from whatever previous evil took them all out.
It was probably the Hyrule Castle of an age long past, and the boss chamber would have been a sacred realm entrance and pedestal for the master sword (note it has all the sage symbols surrounding a triforce, just like in the temple of time). Also--if you follow the continuum--wherever the master sword lies--that's where the kokiri forest/korok forest will eventually end up, especially since in most games, the forest is where you FIND the Master Sword.
I absolutely love these arrangements. At the risk of sounding cheesy, it doesn't make sense to me that these videos don't have more views and likes.
It doesn't have more views because its very niche.
I agree. I just found this video and scrolled others and I'm so surprised they have so few subscribers. This is incredible!
@@FlamingZelda3 I mean it definitely is very niche but I think the giant fan base there is more, it just hasn't been seen as if you search forest temple there's many that pop up above it.
yeah i get what you mean. there are tons of Oot renditions , some with millions of views but Fingelion Meriath's are definetly one of the better ones
With todays attention span the first 2 minutes probley lost a lot of people
I swear that's how I listened to it when I was 13
do you know „zelda as imagined“? check it out.
that properly remade alpng with music like this... WHAT A TREAT 🙃

@@oooodaxteroooo Thank you
If you close your eyes you can truly imagine what it was like to walk through the lost woods and discover the forest temple. A beautifully horrifying experience that encompasses nature and magic. This really does a great job of capturing the overall aura of this part of the game.
Sounds like your walking down an ancient forest . Just brilliant
I like the incorporation of the jingling the Koroks make from Wind Waker.
:O it sounds like you are walking through the forest and you gradually get closer to that mysterious place
yees 😱
These are all honestly some of the best Zelda fan work I've ever experienced... And that's saying something. This one and the Deku Tree are very special to me ❤️
The forest temple was always a bit spooky, not like the shadow temple, but like its truly abandoned, and this version really reminds you its in a literal forest. ❤
Agreed... Tbf the temple is haunted by 3 ghosts, several flying skulls and gannons shadow... Plus several other things im probably not thinking about in the moment...
Imagine walking through a forest and you start hearing the music the further you walk- that would make me shite my pants and make me want to explore even more.
Great stuff. Needs a bit more of the "DOO DOO DOO" section but other than that you've nailed it
Beautiful, and just what my soul needed tonight!
This was always my favorite temple and dungeon theme for it was every bit playful as it was ominous. 🍃🍃
The rustling of seeds and anonymous walking sound effects give me shivers and chills and I love it ❤
Oh, my...
NAVIIII? Listen! !!! 😋👌
for me this song means a lot. Aside from transporting me to my childhood like everyone else, it's a reminder that they don't make music like this anymore, or such is my perception
This arrangement really captured the feeling and essence of the forest temple. That I remembered when I was a kid playing it for the first time. Well, practically every time I play It so eerie.
REALLY the best version I've heard to actually imbue some needed dread into the mysterious mood of the temple.
I shut my eyes, and imagined I was sitting in the Forest Temple with my eyes shut of course and I kid you not, I was getting so into it I legit thought I was there for a little bit, that is how good you are at making these Immersive versions of these already amazing songs. Hearing Link enter the abandoned temple which in turn makes the music ramp up, and then hearing those wood chimes and the poes laughing at you, it's just all so blended perfectly. You my man, are getting totally subscribed. :)
This version of the forest temple sounds like it would be an enchanted forest theme. (Yet again the lost woods is basically an enchanted forest.) But it sounds relaxing & mysterious, i love it.
I am going to be honest here, I am literally working on a mock proposal for one of my classes right now, and this song has been extremely helpful to me in relaxing my mind and getting the paper done. The Forest Temple theme has always been a very beautiful song, but you just made it even more beautiful, so thank you so much for uploading this video! :)
This is really well made
Perfectly harrowing and beautiful at the same time. This is likely the best rendition of forest temple to date!
Excelente versión hermano, esta buena para viajar y meditar...
I like how you made the weird rattle sound sound like the rattle sound koroks make in wind water and breath of the wild
I love how you take us on a journey with your personal composition, building it up and changing it depending on the location in the dungeon itself. You are a master!
good trip meditation
L'ambiance est très réussie, j'aime vraiment beaucoup. J'ai hâte de voir la suite pour d'autres temples
Thank you for creating this... You seem to just get it.
I think you have some real talent. Watching your other stuff right now.
I also think it's amazing how people still are so fascinated with this game
this is EXACTLY what a remix should be. im lost for words and thats saying a lot!
This is a masterpiece. This is my favorite zelda song of all time and this just completes me! I hope eventually you get the recognition you deserve! Now excuse me while I play this on repeat
Damn this is good
This is perfect!
Amazing ambience! And the birds in backward was a strange feeling lol
1:53 I actually thought there was a bug buzzing by me, while strolling in the forest listening to this
1:52 How dare you add that sound 😂
"How bad could it be?"
...
"Get down!"
I like how you included the Elegy of Emptiness near the end. Very clever! 💎
Can you make with the Spirit Temple? I really appreciate your remixes.
I'm from Brazil
wish was granted
this would sound awesome as a multichannel surround mix
Seriously this sounds straight out of a remake
I love this! Great job, I'm always a sucker for Immersion.
Can you extend this for an hour or longer. Either way, I still enjoy it. Thanks.
Just put it on loop
Exactly! Well done! Great arrangement. 🙏🏽
Super cool, thanks for making this project!
Il la vraiment un côté mystérieux que j'arrive pas à expliquer chaque fois que je joue la musique
You are a genious. Thanks.
j'aime bien le concept 😁
Brilliant
the sound of korogu or bell and footsteps.are excellent, can we get a extended version?
could you do this with other temple? Or another dungeon? I'm really excited!!
What would an immersive shadow temple sound like? 🤔😂
@@atomblack652 FEAR
He did water and shadow temple most recently
If another zelda game involving the forest temple is ever made, this should be used for it.
I love that this one focuses more on the haunting synth sound that i favor about this song makes it just sound so relaxing and opens up the imagination..just take out the doo doo doo dooo part 4/5❤
Suenta tan bien logrado y diferente
Es... increíble
There are cultur written about dark abondend places like big and dark forests of our world. This temple was one of the scariest temple i ever done, i was not brave enough but you must done it. The very first playtrough i remember very good about the anxiety and nervous feeling. The skulltulas dont make it better.
Bro, this should be in the UE5 Version of OoT .. oO!!
I was not prepared for the BEE IN MY EAR 1:52
Minecraft piano chords music plays in the background while I listen to this music
I always felt the outside sections of forest temple were a liminal space
I also love that one
Had to scroll a bit, but I knew I'd find you!
@@RebeccaETripp I'm on all these kinds of works :)
I am beyond impressed how you managed to capture the ethereal ambience, feel, and soul of the original. If the OG piece of Ocarina of Time was a door, you've shown us there is another one behind it. Well done!
So good so good don’t stop 🫶
Layers of Fear vibes at 4:07
Wow
that picture looks more a side door to the temple like the main entrance we see in game is more off to the right
for some reason i was expecting
OOOO weeeh... oooooh weeeh
I wish there was a version without the footsteps. Apart from that its nice.
The birds were good. My favorite part, the best part ..u know what I'm talking about, y'all, was disrespected and overlooked in this. Talented, doe
i never noticed how close this is to paper mario's thosuand year door soundtrack.
where's the taunting laughs?
Can I use this in a fan game?
I'm wondering what that rattle is supposed to be? It sounds kind of like the noise skull kid makes in TP, but I don't remember anything like it in OoT.
I'm actually curious about all the noises.
Don’t ever take this down
oh gosh i loved it till the fly went past my head, everything else is lovely though
💀 👻 🕷️ 👹
Eh reh
Very lovely but please, never ever include the buzzing of flies in your audio.
