Who am I?
I am Matt and I love to break down and analyze video games to the fullest extent. I tend to be very overly critical when analyzing games so don't worry if I am a little harsh on a game you like, that's just who I am. It's okay to disagree with one another.
#legendofzelda #ckmatt #zelda - Hry
You could just have hit the crystal to spawn a chest with bombchus from the start. Do a spin attack
You have changed my playthroughs of OoT forever.
You can also get 10 free bombchus in the Spirit Temple, where you have to blow up a part of a wall to let sunlight in to activate the sun switch.
@CKMatt You can get to the top of the moving wall in the Spirit Temple using the longshot to pull yourself to the very top.
was going to say theres multiple ways to cheese this puzzle lol.
There's also the Bombchu Shop in Castle Town as a kid, which I think only requires the Bomb Bag to buy them. It's in a back alley and 7 years in the past, but still closer than the flying carpet guy.
There's also plenty of Bombchus in chests all over the game, and the Bombchu game gives Bombchus as a prize, so if the player explores even a moderate amount of the side content of the game, they should be able to find some.
But yeah, in that room specifically, the closer crystal that can easily be hit with the sword spawns a chest with Bombchus in it. Nintendo's level design was never that bad.
Am I the only person who DOESN'T have a problem with Water Temple?
You're not completely alone. The Water Temple has a small following who love it and believe it to be underrated. I wish I was cool enough to be in that crowd though 😢
I love water temple because it just gets so bogged down with menuing and waiting. Luckily the Randomizer hotkeys the boots on the dpad
Menu and interface problems aside, I love the Water Temple BECAUSE it was so difficult. It was the defining point where I got stuck that added so much mystery to the rest of the dungeon and the game, because I couldn't reach it. Also, I feel like the complexity adds to the replay value of the dungeon and the game. I want Zelda to be full of dungeons that I'm not going to easily memorize the solutions to.
the water temple is one of the best. it's not difficult from hard platforming or tough fighting.
it's hard because you're not smart enough. that's my favorite kind of challenge. it took me 2 years to beat the water temple at 4y.o. I still love it.
It’s the best dungeon on 3DS.
The reason the Well is so short is because it’s technically part of the Shadow Temple dungeon.
And the eye of truth is pretty much required on afirst play through.
There's actually a shortcut in the shadow temple to get back to the boss room. It's still a bit of a pain to get back if you die, but the shortcut cuts it about in half.
Farore wind
@@guimearboes9256 There's that too. But I think a lot of people forget that item exists, especially since it's optional.
How'd he even miss that?
You can destroy the bubbles in jabu with deku nuts so easy 😅. People always forget the nuts. They are a very underestimated item 😅
You can also nut on bombchus to make them explode right away
You can use them to make the Poe sisters reappear in the Forrest temple as well
Tbh I don't think anything tops the forest temple. Too immaculate. Vibes. Puzzles. Bosses. Perfect. Only dungeons that are on par are the ones from Twilight Princess imo
When I was a kid I used to watch my older sister and cousin play, and I was absolutely in love with the fire temple. Now as an adult, for some reason, the forest temple has become my favorite. I love the whole soundtrack of the game, but the forest temples theme just fits so damn perfectly to the design of the temple. It’s so mysterious and intriguing, and the lack of foreknowledge makes it even more captivating. It has an ominous yet welcoming atmosphere. Whenever I play through the game again, I’m always so excited for the forest temple and always take my sweet time getting through it.
Forest temple, stone tower temple, best temples ever
Forest temple soundtrack is the best
@@sanka0313 Top 10 Dungeons:
#10 Tower of the Gods(WW)
#9 Shadow Temple(OoT)
#8 Goron Mines(TP)
#7 Stone Tower(MM)
#6 Spirit Temple(OoT)
#5 Ancient Cistern(SS)
#4 Arbiter’s Grounds(TP)
#3 Sandship(SS)
#2 Snowpeak Ruins(TP)
#1 Forest Temple(OoT)
You know you can just longshot to the top of the moving wall in the spirit temple, right?
Nah bro you telling me this now????
I've been suffering my whole life.
@@TheDKMatt I found out through necessity, I kept falling off when they moved too 😂
In master quest you cant actually do that. Found that out yesterday actually doing a master quest randomizer
This is great to know thank you!
The Spirit Temple is the perfect Zelda dungeon, it's a masterpiece. IMO it has the best dungeon music in the game, it's so good.
Forest dungeon's music is same level for me.
@@marcello7941I agree I think the Forrest temple and fire temple have the best dungeon music
All I really have to add is that personally I feel like the well and the ice cavern are extensions of the shadow and water temples respectively rather than really being full dungeons of their own.
The Bottom of the Well really feels like an extension of Shadow Temple, but I appreciate that the Ice Cavern has its own distinct theming
Great video! Also just 3 things that I think will help you on a replay of this game.
#1 The annoying Inside Jabu Jabu mini boss can be killed in 1 hit if you attack him with a jumping attack with the Deku Stick. Get behind him and stun him with boomerang, jump attack with Deku Stick and he dies instantly and the whole thing is over in less than 30 seconds.
#2 in the shadow temple, just before the ferry, that block you move to get to the ladder unlocks a shortcut that takes you to the beginning of the dungeon so that you don’t have to run through the whole thing in case you die at the end like you said.
#3 the spirit temple climbing wall that you were having so much trouble with and falling down for 20 minutes, you can use your long shot and just simply hookshot to the very top claimable wall and skip the entire thing lol.
For the Shadow Temple, in order to avoid re-traversing the dungeon, you could set Farore's Wind in the room before the boss. Be sure to save before you enter to fight. If you die, dont save, and when you respawn you can simply warp back and try again. Always remember to cast another warp point though.
For the moving climbing wall in spirit temple just use the longshot to grapple to the top it's so much easier then climbing
You can mitigate the risk of dying at the end of the Shadow Temple and making a long runback by simply casting Farore's Wind in the room before the boss room.
banger vid, good luck with all the new content coming out, you deserve the success
Great list, I still get chills listening to the forest temple music (and the fire temple music before the chanting was removed), as it always scared me as a child.
Appreciate the love for the great deku tree, that is by far my personal favorite starting dungeon in the series
I love the spirit temple as well, the atmosphere and the music is what makes it the best for me
For me, the only qualm I think I have about the Spirit Temple is that once you’ve completed half of the temple as child link, you then have to leave the temple, go back to the Temple of Time, and become adult link again in order to complete the rest of the Spirit Temple. That, to me, can be viewed as a bit of a momentum killer. Regardless, I do appreciate how the game requires you to explore the temple as child Link as it shows just how much you’ve grown from your experiences as adult Link.
1. Spirit Temple
2. Forest Temple
3. Shadow Temple
4. Dodongo’s Cavern
5. Fire Temple
6. Deku Tree
7. Water Temple
8. Gerudo’s Training Grounds
9. Jabu Jabus Belly
10. Bottom of the Well
11. Ice Cavern
12. Ganon’s Castle
just so happened to stumble across this channel - love the content & the edits you make during the video 🤍 maybe do a worst to best weapons list next?
Great video! Just so you know, you can use the longshot to climb the shifting wall in the Spirit Temple. Makes life SO much easier lol.
Excellent video, greetings from El Salvador!
deku tree was my first ever zelda dungeon in my first ever zelda game. even though i know its objectively not a "great" dungeon, it will always be one of my favorites in the entire series. ill never forget the feeling i got when i was 10 years old and navigated it and beat the boss for the first time all on my own. to me, it perfectly encapsulates the classic zelda formula and its why i instantly fell in love with the series.
Great video, great channel. I love how it always comes down to either the Forest or Spirit temple as number 1. Most people seem to prefer Forest for its thematic elements and I totally get that, but I would say Spirit is the best temple. It's just legendary.
Volvagia is also vulnerable to arrows when he is flying around to help reduce the time fighting him
Great video, keep it up dude
One of my favorite boss fights (second only to Bongo Bongo) is actually Phantom Ganon. Not sure if everyone else had this experience, but when playing on the 3DS I realized I could predict which painting he would phase out of by listening to the sound coming out of the speakers. It made the fight that much more engaging for me when I had to use one of my five senses in addition to my gaming skills.
At least in the original, the fake one was darker in color, while the real one was more lit up and detailed.
If you bomb some rocks around Jabu Jabu's area as a child, you can get a spell from the Great Fairy called Farore's wind, which will place a teleport point where you leave it in dungeons, helps a lot with the timed Megaton hammer stairs in the Fire Temple and the linear issue with the Shadow Temple. Heck, you can just place it before any boss and have a waypoint right there!
Also, you can kill Volvagia really fast, I've done it in like 36 seconds, accounting for time to run to the portal (this being on the boss refight thing on the 3DS version), all you have to do is jump attack with the Megaton hammer/Biggoron's sword when you stun her (jump attacks do double damage, so use them or quick spin attacks whenever possible if you want speed), shoot her with the bow while running in the same direction as her and targeting her (because you'll miss otherwise), and dropping a bomb or two in the hole she goes in (because the hitbox is still there), you can probably two cycle her easy!
I’d go
1. Spirit Temple
2. Fire Temple
3. Shadow Temple
4. Dodongos Cavern
5. Great Deku Tree
6. Water Temple
7. Forest Temple
8. Ganons Castle
9. Inside Jabu Jabus Belly
10. Bottom of the Well
11. Ice Cavern
Imo the rank goes like this :
1. Forest temple
2. Shadow temple
3. Water temple
4. Deku Tree
5. Spirit temple
6. Fire temple
7. Dodongo's cavern
8. Ganon Castle
9. Jabu jabu
Nice list. :)
The bottom of the well is a mini dungeon… you felt like there was more because it’s meant as a precursor to the shadow temple.
Great video!
I would place the Forest Temple in 1st place. The Dessert in 3rd, Fire 2nd. Also, Ganon's Castle I would also place higher.
BUT!! Something I recently learned... At the climbing section of the video, (15:20) you can use the longshot to hook up to the highest brick wall and not worry about timing the climb. Try it! :)
If you don’t have bombchus by the time you get to the last dungeon, what have you been doing? I got them like three different times in the same playthrough, golden skulltula, the merchant, and the bombchu game
To get those bombchus in Ganons castle, you do a spin attack, it goes thru the bars. Thats how you open the door with the skullchula in the water temple also.
The chest with bombchus Inside ganon's castle is accesible actually, you can hit it with your sword throug the grid. I know because I didn't have no bombchus and that's how I got them!!!
In the game Ocarina of Time. When you first enter the water Temple walk right to the edge, left edge. Jump to the second ledge and run around to the two lamps, use Dins fire and you are in the main center chamber. Hook shot up and sink to first key. If you want to return just save and end game and restart then jump to second ledge. It just makes solving this this dungeon so easy. I can zip through this one fast. Also at night as young link if you stay on the paths those skeleton things will leave you alone. This water Temple trick is amazing!!!! Try it!!!!
If you cast farore’s wind at the high water location in the water temple you can reduce backtracking 10 fold.
For example get the boss key, warp to the high water mark, raise the water go straight to morpha.
I think to get one of the Gold Skulltulas you unlock the shortcut to the creepy ship. It's mentioned on one of the ghost signs near the Compass.
I totally overlooked the spirit temple back in the day. Beating the water temple felt like a month and the shadow temple straight after it i just wanted to get through it and face ganon. Having played it more recently, it's easily the best in the game tied with the forest temple in terms of ambience, puzzle solving and lore.
I feel like Bottom of the Well is a companion dungeon to the Shadow Temple, like both in actual lore and gameplay. Because not only is it closely connected to the Royal Family like the Shadow Temple, but much like Ice Cavern, it has an item that is needed to beat the main dungeon (in the case of IC, that's Water Temple) at least on casual playthroughs. You could view it in a similar way to the child and adult branches of the Spirit Temple, only the dungeons are completely physically disconnected and instead of learning about the nuances of the Gerudo people, you learn about the war crimes of the Royal Family.
So I think as is, Bottom of the Well is complete, it's just part of the larger backstory of Hyrule's wars and comes to a head at the Shadow Temple.
In the fire temple boss, you can climb on the side of the platform while the Boss is circling around in the air and the reason it takes a lot of hits is because you are using the sword instead of the hammer. In the spirit temple you can hook shot on the top of the moving wall instead of climbing all the way up.
What are you using to play the game? It doesn't look like the usual 20fps n64 version. Looks very cool!
9:06 I think they actually did a good job in Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword (despite its many other flaws) by making the task of getting to the dungeon almost like its own dungeon with puzzles to solve
Also you can jump to the ground without landing on the platform in the slingshot room in Deku Tree, climb the vines the jump back using the platform. I love it because it's a puzzle that rewards creative thinking.
The dungeons in ss are good. I played it again after it got ported to switch. Nintendo hates lefties I swear. Shit on wii had me heated back in the day
@@Beans-do6wc to me the only disappointing Dungeons was the First and Second one, though the revisit to the first one was a good bit better. Skyview 1 is pretty boring and Earth Temple is almost good but I found it way to short. After that I feel they got their shit together
My favorite was definitely the fire temple. The whole vibe of the dungeon was great, the puzzles are pretty easy to catch on and I have the whole dungeon pretty much memorized in the back of my head (I’ve played it like 7 times)
Fire temple has one of the best central room ever
@@toph_toff974 it has a good central room and it is easy to memorize
15:47 it's like you said, you need to use older items you've obtained from other dungeons. Aim the longshot at the center of the brick at the top (which never moves) ;)
Spirit temple always was the best level I've ever played in any game, hearing it's OST alone sends goosebumps down my spine.
Huh... Maybe it's just me but using THE Megaton Hammer that stopped Volvagia in the first place made his fight seem rather short. I can understand wanting to use the sword and I think in Wind Waker your sword does more damage than the hammer against the Helmaroc King but I swear Volvagia is actually really short if you just use the hammer. I love the way he looks too.
Funny thing? I never minded the water temple that much. And a friend of mine who recently played Ocarina of Time said it was one of his favorite dungeons in the game. And he's now going through Majora's mask for the first time, he enjoyed the Great Bay Temple. Keep in mind that at this time, the only other Zelda game he has played was Breath of the Wild. Well, unless you count age of calamity.
Best dungeon? Forest Temple. But Water Temple is certainly not the worst. It actually has some challenge, not aimed for mainstream market but for true gamers.
You can Longshot to the top of that wall
The way you say bombchu sounds like some sort of new Pikachu evolution.
The bottom of the well is the first part of the shadow temple, you get what youre asking for, its a dungeon thats split between child and adult Link.
11:07 If you play OOT on the Switch, you can make save files that let you come back to any point in which you saved
*comments on how using something not in the original version is a time-saver*
I don’t think I’ve ever actually climbed that moving wall in the spirit temple. You can just hook shot it to the top 😅
15:00 you can do the Water/Fire Temples and Spirit/Shadow Temples in any order, so you don't actually need the hover boots for that silver rupee, you have to use the hookshot on a wall to get it while being pulled :P
the long shot works on that wall you had trouble with at the spirit temple. So you can shot from bottom to top.
This vid is so underrated
Water temple literally the best dungeon in the game if it wasnt for the crapy water physics
also in the shadow temple (idk if it's here too i'm playing the 3ds version) there a shortcut where if you push a block you can basically go back to the silver ruppees room (which is almost at the beggining) and also this shortcut is at the start of the flying boat room
15:30 i was stuck there back in the day. To the point i called a friend on a Sunday morning... he told me to use the hookshot and with that, that wall is done in 2 seconds 😅
I can’t really pinpoint why I don’t like the forest temple but for whatever reason I’m always trying to hurry through it and get to the other four temples. I think it’s that room with the ladders and the large stone blocks that I dread
Two things:
1. You don’t have to go to the desert to get bomchus lol. I know you figured it out that there’s a chest with them in the dungeon but you can buy bomchus at either one of the shops at kakariko village or one of the shops at the town market as kid link.
2. How is the well optional?! You need the lens of truth unless you can mesmerize where every invisible platform is in every dungeon some how.
Perfect tier list mate. I agree with basicslly the whole thing. Spirit temple and forest temple are king.
Water temple is my favourite in the game. It requires you to use the map and think. Finding unaxcessable areas and figuring out how to get there when the dungeon is in a different state is amazing. I love puzzles which affect the state of an entire dungeon. Also backtracking because you didnt have enough small keys I also didnt mind because then I had to figure out where id forgotten to look, which I didnt mind as much. Spending more time in a dungeon navigating it is not neccessarily bad imo. Love the atmosphere, maybe it could have more interesting combat except dark Link, but otherwise I love it.
The only complaint I have about the well is that if you know what you're doing you can skip pretty much everything and just get the eye of truth
I like the video. Would love to see more like it.
I will be ranking Wind Waker dungeons soon!
More will be coming!
Why didn’t you use the long shot to get up the moving brick wall in sand temple?
I just want to point out that part of the reason you kept falling off the climbable wall in the Spirit Temple is because Link was between two different panels when they moved. It's a minor detail that makes the mechanics of that climbing wall a bit more interesting, but I agree that is a slow and tedious part of an already kinda long dungeon.
Or ir can be avoided all along using the longshot on the top brick panel...
A way to visualize the idea would be if your feet were on a ladder, and your hands were on whatever was at the top. Then suddenly it gets kicked out from under you.
The Water Temple is actually pretty easy. Get the Keys for the bottom floor and don't forget to push the block for the later key.
Get the keys for the second floor (2 keys per floor for a total of four keys.)
THEN you face Dark Link for the Long Shot. (Either spam Din's fire or kill him faster with the Megaton Hammer)
The rest of the temple is pretty easy, just- annoying to do what with backtracking to raise and lower the water levels.
If you had no patience with that wall in the Sprit Temple, understand that you could just Longshot to the top. The walls are able to be hit with that thing
That moving wall in the Spirit Temple, just use the Long Shot.
It's my favorite game all time. I love the Forest temple the most
I didn't know Ganon's castle count. Its in my top 2 best dungeons then. Once you get past the boring element rooms, going up the stairs killing twin minibosses is the best
that was my biggest issue with BOTW… no real dungeons! Still a blast to play! Ocarina of Time will always be my favorite Zelda game followed by the first game and Link To The Past! lol I need to play these games again!
My list
11: Ice Cavern
10: Bottom of the Well
9: Water Temple
8: Inside Jabu-Jubu’s Belly
7: Deku Tree
6: Ganon’s Castle
5: Forest Temple
4: Dodongo’s Cavern
3: Shadow Temple
2: Fire Temple
1: Spirit Temple
I know it's considered a bit of a useless item, but simply casting Farore's Wind in the room leading up to the boss as an adult (and in the well, spirit temple, jabu jabu as a kid) removes the back track if you die in a boss fight. It only takes magic on the first cast, not to return to your warp point.
I love it when people say ocarina the normal way and not some odd way good shit dude
I’m pretty sure there are bombachus inside Ganons tower…it’s like right near where you need to use it lol
That wall in the Spirit Temple killed me
I don't think it does damage. Maybe the beamos killed you
Hey man, nice video!! Thought I'd add a couple of comments and leave my own dungeon ranking. First off, you had a complaint regarding Ganon's castle regarding the dungeon not supplying you with enough items, (though you did eventually find those bombchus ;) ) given that it's a dungeon, especially the last dungeon in the game, it would make sense for the game to expect you to come prepared.
I think your problem with the Bottom of the Well can be explained by a matter of perspective. You complimented the spirit temple for having a neat mechanic of solving half of it as a child, and the other half of it as an adult. The Bottom of the Well is simply the first half of the Shadow Temple. You get the Iron gauntlets from the child half of the spirit temple, and you get the lense of truth from the first half of the shadow temple. Keep in mind the thematic resemblance and location as well. It all lines up
Personally, I'm a huge fan of the Water Temple. One of my favorite temples in the whole series. I think the issue can be brought down to about 2 things, lack of patience, and people not thinking about dungeons as a whole. I totally understand not being patient while playing a game, but that kind of thing will punish you in the water temple. As for the latter, there are 2 different kinds of dungeons, as Mark Brown puts it, Gauntlet style, and puzzle box style. A textbook Gauntlet dungeon is the Shadow Temple, less thinking about the dungeon as a whole, instead a larger focus one room at a time, completing the puzzle in the current room to progress to the next challenge. Puzzle Box style is generally more difficult due to the dungeon itself being the puzzle. You have to open the map and think, "I'm here, but *how* do I get over there?" and I love that feeling in a dungeon.
Love what you said on the Deku Tree! It is a perfect dungeon, easy enough for newcomers while showing you how to expect dungeons to function in the series. I have a hard time ranking this on my own list, as it has great design, but the difficulty of later dungeons I greatly appreciate.
I think your issue with Volvagia can be solved, too. Regarding the health, once you stun it, use Jump Slashes, as they are the hardest hitting attack in the game. As a plus, you can get the Biggoron sword before you begin any adult dungeons, so that paired with the Jump Slash should speed up the boss fight a good bit.
Now, for my unprompted ranking:
1: Water Temple
2: Spirit Temple
3: Forest Temple
4: Fire Temple
5: Beneath the Well
6: Inside the Deku Tree
7: Jabu Jabu's Belly
8: Shadow Temple
9: Ganon's Castle
10: Dodongo's Cavern
11: Ice Cavern
12: Gerudo Training Grounds
I also want to restate that there is no such thing as a bad dungeon in Ocarina of Time. It's just the matter of some of these dungeons taking the lower spots. Again, great video, I really enjoyed the watch! :)
I was thinking of how to describe the two different types of dungeon styles because I noticed that in the game. One with a central hub that almost feels like a project and the other which acts as an obstacle course almost. I might reuse this comment (With credit) in future videos when describing dungeons because you perfectly put into words the differences between design of a lot of these dungeons. Thanks for the comment!
Absolutely man! Check out Game Maker's Toolkit's Boss Keys series. He's where I got the terminology from, really good stuff :) @@TheDKMatt
When i first played this game as a kid i felt that it was too easy. It was great, but easy. Until i reached the water temple. And in that moment i realized that the game was a masterpiece.
Bottom of the Well was actually originally supposed to be a part of the Shadow Temple.
You can destroy the bubbles in Jaba's belly by throwing the princess at them 😅
What about the gerudo training ground? That’s where you get the silver gauntlets! I love that one, shooting the arrow into all 4 of the statues pupils omg
In the water temple, to change the waterlevels easily, just use farore’s wind on the highest water level spot…
I'm surprised you mentioned the well's miniboss without mentioning the Ice Cavern's "boss"
I have a certain level of appreciation for the torture that the water temple put me thru. I first played thru OOT when I was 5 in 2003 and got stuck at the water temple and wasn’t able to finish it for THREE YEARS. and that wasn’t me no longer playing the game for three years, that was me playing a couple times a week consistently trying to figure it out. We didn’t have internet at home and I didn’t have a guide, so I had to figure it out all on my own. I remember the rest of the game (shadow temple, spirit temple, ganon’s castle) feeling soooooo awesome and special to get to play thru bc for a while I didn’t think I’d ever reach them. The water temple will always hold a special place in my heart for how much it kicked my ass.
Re Spirit Temple: you do know you can just longshot up the moving climb wall, right? 😳
I thought you had to use the hammer to fight the fire dragon. I never even considered using the sword
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I still absolutely love the Water Temple. I've always thougth people massively overstate the problem with the iron boots, considering that it only takes two seconds to switch them. I love it's labrynthian design, it's music, the mini- boss, the longshot, the complexity of it, and have never found the water level gimmick frusturating. Again, you can disagree, but I really believe that if the Water Temple was made now, people would love it. Many people who played OoT when it first came out hated the Water Temple because they couldn't complete it when they were 10, and have had resentment for it that has spread since then. I always loved it's level design, and am happy to be one of the seemingly few who count it as one of the best dungeons in the game (Although it is starting to become more popular now which is great).
If they gave you bombchus in the final dungeon it could have given away the solution to the puzzle. Robbing a person of figuring it out on their own. Plus it rewards players who plan ahead and stalk up on supplies before tackling the Ganons castle
The spirit temples “shifting walls” :
Just use the longshot lol 😂
Y'know you could just go back to Kid Link, use the Sun's Song to make it nighttime, go to the Back Alley, and go into the Bombchu shop there for half the price that the Carpet Merchant is asking.
...wait, is that the route you take if you die in the Shadow temple? You know you can move that block to make a shortcut to the boat, right?
The spirit temple wall can be skipped using the hookshot. It attached to the top of the wall. So yeah...I also don't have patience for it
Water temple fun challenge my favorite temple is fire I love the the prison and the Goron disappears the music chanting is eerie great puzzle dark story music one of the best Zelda Dungeons all time
Fire Temple final boss
Jump slash does twice the damage. Go out of your way to get the Biggoron's sword before this and do jump slashes, the fight ends 4x faster than you were doing it.
Or use the hammer. Speedrunner usually store the jumpslash hammer for the fight.
@@boffboffautopflege7957 I'm not entirely sure of the hammer's actual damage calculation, so I didn't bring it up. Regardless, a jump slash with anything would've been better than just one standard slash.
You can hit the crystal to get bombchus before you unlock the door
The bottom of the well isn’t optional you need the lens of truth for the shadow temple and getting to the spirit temple
