What is better than a metal box?
*metal box with faces on the inside so the pilot will never feel lonely*
Or sane...ever again.
Yea, that's the kicker. He hears ever more voices then, so he feels like his talking to his whole warband again.
Sets loose a pack of these
"That's a lot of damage"
The Helbrutes are perhaps one of the most horrifying parts of Warhammer 40k. Literal walking death, and worse yet for a Traitor Astartes, robs the implantee of any chance at real glory or personal power ever again. The physical torment are almost incidental to this total humiliation. No wonder Helbrutes are motivated by such unrepressed rage and bloodlust!
"Normal apoplectics" sounds very much like something that would be said by a calm Chaos Lord trying to plan around some of his more sprightly slaves behavior.
4:12 the way you said worms in the context of the hellbrute was very fitting
I am painting skarbrand while I listen as my hellbrute is all done including magnetized for every weapon load out. Great channel ty
Welcome and thanks.
Another great video Grim! Love your content and you certainly deserve more subs. I don't even play 40k but I'm totally hooked on your channel. Been watching since your audiobook readings.

Thank you for the inspiring work along with a very nice intro and end music :)
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Have 3 of them Chaos Dreads. Why did they change the name?
Sell more minis if they're advertised as a different unit :P
Well Hellbrutes are sort of an evolution to dreadnaughts. In lore there are still chaos Dreadnaughts, but are really, really, really rare. Most "evolved" to hellbrutes when a chaos daemon possesses the sarcophagus. Since they are relatively more deadly, the dark mechanicum and the Iron Warriors are artificially possessing sarcophagus with beaten and tamed daemons.
Great video grim. So the helbrutes are basically dreadnoughts so what's the main difference between these and chaos decimator engine's other than the fact decimators are demon engines so is it that one comes from the standard dreadnought frame and the decimators come from contemptor dreadnoughts only asking because the decimators look like they were made in the eye of terror with only the demon controlling it and the helbrutes being warped from spending to much time in the realm of chaos.
I'd say the difference between these and any daemon engine really, is the fact that daemon engines use captured warp entities to bring the contraption to life. Even though there's a degree to malevolent spirits present in Chaos Dreadnoughts and Helbrutes, they do need a living "pilot" to drive them.
The decimator is NOT based off the dreadnought framework. It looks similar yet it's actually the result of xenos, and unique technologies. They only look as though they're similar.
Can I find these guys more terrifying then the grotesque hellbrute
Feel free to do so.
Creepy Chaos guys.
BEHOLD THE UNDERMINER!!!!!!! I AM A VERY ANGRY ROBOT!!!!!!
The Underminer 49'er.
@@GrimDarkNarrator SCOOBY DOO IS THAT YOU?!
And what about nurgle Hellbrutes? They do not feel pain, so do they keep their sanity?
I think no one that ends up as a helbrute still has what you'd call sanity intact.
