- The Village of Friskney, Lincolnshire Rememberers and Commemorates the 80th Anniversary of Operation Overlord - The D DAY Landings of 6th June 1944.

We will remember them for ever for D Day. But we also must remember all those who have fought and died in conflicts since and up to this day. Brothers in arms.

How I always ask myself as a civilian who never fought am i supposed to understand what all the boys and girls who stood up and fought went through, a thank you and a promise to never forget just does not seem enough.just absolutely humbled, struggling for words tbh, thank you all.
Their heroism is beyond any word's I'm capable of saying. Thank you
