It's been two years since I've uploaded this video and I wanted to make sure I mentioned to any viewers who have been commenting their frustrations regarding the ad's on my Pink Floyd videos. Please know that I *DO NOT* put any of these in. I know better than to do this. When any content on CZcams is flagged as copyrighted material, I no longer have any say in what ads are placed in any of my videos. These are auto-generated from CZcams's algorithm so they, along with the original artists are given ad revenue for the uploaded content. I have personally noticed this when videos hit a view count of 5K or higher. I have no ability to monetize the videos, nor would I. Please know that when ad's are placed, it is nothing that I am doing, or have any control over. If you want to block ad's on CZcams though, simply install the Ad-Blocker Plus extension on your browser and you won't have to worry about Ad's on your desktop browsers ever again.
I was just thinking...if it weren't for Syd we wouldn't have this. Really f'd up and sad but damned if it isn't one of the most beautiful musical pieces ever.
Every last one of us is f'd up in some way or another, but yes a fantastic piece of musical history.

Thinking about restarting and compiling my own vinyl collection. Now that I'm older it appeals to me even more than when I was young. Been looking at some techniques turn tables. Found a pioneer sx-750 amp. Might as well enjoy my retirement to the fullest. No better way than to be in the pink 😜😜
Saw Pink Floyd live once in San Antonio. No other concert will ever compare.
I dont think any of the early classical composers would have thought "You know, I believe people will be fawning over my music 2-300yrs from now and beyond. I dont think Pink Floyd would think this either. But they will still be in awe of these compositions 2-300yrs from now as well.

All of their music spectacular and touches not only the soul bit erreily the psyche some very dark and haunting! No other band i have EVER heard has had that type of piercing ability to arouse the feelings like these absolutely geniuses. I am glad i have lived to see them perform dark side of the moon; wish you were here ;animals and momentary lapse of reason. 1975-1977 & 1987. Those experiences are some of the greatest gifts i have received in my journey while on this earth.

Nice, nice! My older brother was/ is into records. I must have been 5-6yrs old when by accident I left 1 of the records from the 2xLP of Pink Floyd's The Wall on his bed. Thing was it was a hot summer day and the sun was radiating hot through the windows. It warped it 😭

One of my favorite movies is an old German silent film "Metropolis" some one added Pink Floyd's shine on you crazy diamond sound track and it works so well.

It reminds me of my youth (I am 64 years old), everyone had a Hi-Fi system. Today even I listen to mp3 on my Mac and other digital media, what a loss of quality.

These current Floyd reissues sound great after you run them through the vinyl spin cleaner a few times. Seems that whatever they use at the pressing plant leaves a heavy film on the LP’s surface that can cause the sound quality to suffer. I’ve got an SL1200 MK5G and currently using an Ortofon cartridge. Love your channel!!

Might be an unpopular opinion but I think parts 6-9 might be better than 1-5. Not to say parts 1-5 they're both great.
1-9 in its entirety...its a shame to split between them.
But yeah parts 6-9 are my preference if i had to choose😏 i choose not to choose.. 😂 1-9 always👌

Any chance you would drop a FLAC version of this edit in a dropbox for us to access? I have bought a couple versions of the Wish You Were Here album over the years. Your edit merging these two parts is much better than simply playing the two sections back-to-back, which is what I've resorted to doing all this time. Thanks.
Hey David! I record at 96k in wav format only. If you're okay with uncompressed wav, then I possibly could. Since these are recordings from our equipment and LP's, I always make a point to ask people what their plans are to do with the file. :)
