Same here dude! Can't believe I'm 30, THAT feels ancient! For some reason these commercials bought back a memory of when I tore down my sister's New Kids On The Block poster. I got my ass kicked by my parents for that. Ahhh, good times for 80s babies...
Kids these days won't know the little joys of looking forward to getting up early to watch Saturday morning cartoons
I vaguely remember these commercials as I was only six. This was when tv was actually fun to watch, though.
I remember most of these commercials!
My favorite Fido Dido bumper was the one he was sitting on the couch and he floated away. Haha...
Damn right I miss being a kind in the 20th century. Back then there was always something good to watch on tv. 80s and 90s rock, baby
I remembered Fido Dido. In a way, he kinda reminds me of Skeeter Valentine from Doug or the guy that used to be on the Mr. Pibb bottles in the 90s. The CBS Sat. morning lineup was my lineup on Saturdays from '88 (when I was born)-'92.
I had the biggest crush on Seth Green when I was a teen.
Push Ups and Mickey Mouse pops were my favorite ice creams around that time. :)
Out of the Dalmation toys I had Pongo and 2 Col. w/Sgt. Tibbs toys.
Dino Pebbles were the best!
I remember Flintstones Push-Ups! Those were awesome!
Yesssssssssssssssssssss
Thanks for the stroll down memory lane bud.
Boy, I sure do love Pee-wee's Playhouse!
Awesome times. I'd watch it until noon. Pee-Wee's Playhouse was hilarious.
I miss my childhood :(
Good eye, Stephanie! I definitely remember that commercial.
I remember these commercials!!
HAHAHA I used to LOVE that Fruit Loops commercial!
I remember "Wake Rattle & Roll had the HB logo with the "Flintstones" 30 Years variant. Gone was the famous "Swirling Star" logo that has been used in all HB shows from the 80's.
As a kid, I remember Pee Wee's Playhouse being longer and having more content :)
obviously aired no later than July 1991, as Pee-Wee got arrested in that period and CBS immediately pulled the plug of that series.
Thx so much for posting this. You just helped me remember one of the best years of my life. Ah, the nostalgia :-) Sweetness!
wow!!! seth green on the fruit loops commercial awesome sauce!!!
holy crap the old logo of Chips Ahoy!
I turned 30 this year. Friggin' THIRTY! That's three whole decades old! So how do you think *I* feel? lmao
lol fido dido ...I always wondered about that with cbs
One Year Later, Jim Henson’s Muppet Babies Left
CBS and Moved to Their New Home on Nickelodeon!
But then, they are owned by Disney.
Victor Gonzalez I Know, But I Really Wish Disney Didn’t Own
The Muppets and Nickelodeon Did Own Them Again!
@@nicksullivan4994 actually, Viacom who create Nickelodeon in the 80's and they buy paramount pictures in 1994.
Did I just hear a promo for Naked Gun during the clusing credits sequence for a kid's show? Wow, the 90s really were weird.
Iv'e been singing it for years. Crayola Crayaola ROCKS !
i miss being a kid. let me know if u do too
Whoah.. you got some awesome ads here! :D
5:47 Rescue 911 promo (general)
Is that Seth Green in the fruit loop commercial??

I can't believe they merchandised a movie like that!
I remember watching the Morton and Hayes special. I even remembered the song the sang. "We're Morton and Hayes, we'll always be friends, one of us borrows, the other one lends."
I was 11 at the time. I didn't get it.
Great upload!
these are commercials from the year I was born I quite dont feel old but still young cause I am 25 years old but 1991 was good year peoples childhood and everything that's why when I get a newspaper on the day I was born on Saturday October 26, 1991 at 11:40 p.m. close to midnight it will be nice read newspapers from day and year I was born by taking a flashback to 1991 for a day for us to remember everybody could do the same.
I totally forgot that he was in the Fruit Loops commercial. Wow...
Funny how the first Gameboy Color was in the Stone Age.
I used to have nightmares about that froot loops ad. But more blood.
Would be the August 10, 1991 showing of Pee-Wee's Playhouse listed above actually turn out to be the final episode that aired on CBS? The night after the listing was the night of Paul Reubens' arrest on July 20, 1991 during that time period for exposing himself in a Sarasota, Florida adult movie theater for indecent behavior (to put it lightly)--leading CBS to immediately cancel any remaining reruns of the "Playhouse" for the rest of the summer (IIRC "Pee-Wee's Playhouse" had already been canceled for the 1991-92 Saturday morning season on CBS). I could be wrong, but I think they aired the reruns of Pee-Wee's Playhouse until August 10, as scheduled until September, according to newspapers, such as The Item (Sumter, South Carolina, The Free Lance Star (Virginia), The Gettysburg Times (Gettysburg, Pennsylvania), The Washington Post (Washington, D.C.), The Tuscaloosa Times (Tuscaloosa/Northport & West Alabama), Atlus Times (Atlus, OK).
Pee Wee's Playhouse used their own custom bumpers from fall 1989 until late 1990? by early 1991 Pee Wee used Fido Dido bumpers.
judging by 3:13, I believe this is from July 20, 1991, the movie was released on July 19th. a week before Pee Wee's scandal by the way.
Am I the only one who is totally freaked out that these commercials originally aired in 1991? And BTW....for those who have not realized it yet......1991 was.......TWENTY YEARS AGO?????????????????? 20 f*&king years!!!!! I feel ancient!!!!!
Someone invent a time machine, but forget major historical events....take me back to when saturday mornings meant something!!!!!! I love these type of vids, but it makes me sad when I'm flippin' through the channels on sat. morning and seeing NOTHING!!!! Where have all the saturdays gone????
@AnointedFlow that was also seth green from family guy and robot chicken
wow@push pops
There is no ralph, there is only Sam...
The fruit loops guys are seth green and givonni ribsi
I heard they're making a third Bill & Ted movie with Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter. That's over twenty years later. Wow. I wonder what it's going to be called.
What show was going off? It looks familiar.
yea. i was 12 when there where on
July 20, 1991
