Gotta love that one-of-a-kind Nelvana style. There's so much character to it. Also it's awesome how it sounds like the two VAs honestly improvising back and forth over the credits. Nelvanamation was so chill.
Thanks for the share. This special meant alot to me as a kid. Grew up with no team sport involvement, not many kids to hang around with. Always pictured being in a team and something like this happening. (well not aliens of course)
I love how it had the voice of Phil Silvers as Irwin. Hanna-Barbera made a lot of characters based on Phil like Top Cat and Hokey Wolf. And here in this special, Phil himself, is doing a voice.

Nelvana always had something science fiction in it's repertoire and had a distinctive style apart from the Disney style. I really, really like that.
