- The National Sports Card Show is HERE! After a year off, we were back in full force! We left for the show on Monday, July 25th and started recording from the start. We wanted to document our entire trip there. We were able to get into the show on Tuesday and set up, and then the dealing began! For 5 days straight, we got to buy, sell and trade sports cards while meeting a ton of great collectors! We have videos for every single day we were there as well as a tradenight video and pickup videos. Be sure to check it out and let us know your thoughts. We hope you enjoy this series!

It was great meeting you and doing a deal with you love the content keep up the great work
Thanks so much!!
Loved the booth! Looking forward to seeing you again next year!
Can’t wait 🙌
Ryan, you deserve all the attention, praise and financial success. People have no idea how hard it is to manage, buy, sell, trade and document their business in the hobby.
Wish you nothing but continued success....the hobby needs you for sure.
Yeah it's hard, it's a business, dude doesn't have to be so rude to others though sometimes...or talk so condescending..idk
@@OutsideDuhBox I actually think Ryan does a great job with all the people that come up to him and the way he treats the people that work for him. It must be super hard to be pulled at in 100 different directions and still handle it as well as he does. Nobody is perfect & everyone has a bad day/momemt in time but 99.9999% of the time Ryan is super kind to everyone.
@@jonnyplastic again ..even a McDonalds worker gets pulled in 100 directions during their job daily...yes work is tough, that's why it's called "hustle". But it seems like it's gotten to his head, he is very bossy and just cringy sometimes. The box battle? You saw the girls faces and even his gf ..i understand he was kidding but it doesn't come off the way he does it. And then this video when the guy came for the card display rent money "oh its 1400 its all there i mean you can count it but its all there" 🙄 bruh ..just hand the man the money and let him do what he wants without a smart ass comment because you're slightly frustrated about the situation. Jeez...dudes only working. Doesn't need comments ..he also being pulled in 100 directions i bet
Sounds like our content may not be for you brother. Our comments are lighthearted. We are meant to brighten peoples day. We joke a lot as a team & are super competitive. If that is bothersome to you, we may not be the channel for you.
@@cardcollector2 Even this reply has micro aggressive attributes. Look man, I say it how I call it, if you don't like it, I'm sorry. I like your content. But the specific moments I addressed are true. That guy that rented the displays for you is not part of your team, and yet that comment was still condescending in a way. Sorry not sorry? Idk what to tell you. Again, I'm just calling it how I see it, and If I see it, others do too, just be wary is all, when in the spotlight, everything is scrutinized.
Nice job! I love to see the hustle!
Appreciate you as always!
Thanks for the content. !!!
Would love to be able to experience at least 1 National in my life, but unfortunately unless they hold 1 somewhere in the Midwest, or at least further west it's not likely.
You would think the Midwest, like maybe KC would be a great place & make it waaay more accessible to waaaay more collectors.
Plus, 2 large Cities State/state & all the burbs, huge new convention centers, public transportation & tons of hotels it could work. I mean, they're hosting the draft next year.
Thanks for sharing!

Cool video. How does one acquire a set of those Card Talk Downtowns? Those things are sweet. I am curious why your jersey number is 25 and not 2. 🤔
25 was Donnie Nickey’s number. I don’t believe there are any sets left atm. They were given out there in AC
Where did you guys make them cards at the end?
CC2, THANK YOU FOR SHARING 👍
Thanks for watching!
Great to meet you
You too!
You’re right about Chris and buttering you up. He killed me with a Herbert back at a show for 4k. Told me the card wasn’t gradable and promised me he was going to grade it… a month later had it at his shop graded for 14k lol. You live and you learn I guess
Time stamp?
You didn't look at the condition of your own card before you sold it? Your lack of knowledge on your own card is your own fault.
@@CubbiesCollectibles you missed the point genius
Honestly I’m a big fan of Chris. Sorry to hear yours didn’t go well, but I believe Chris is one of the best. Everyone has different experiences, but I personally think very highly of Chris and his team
@@CubbiesCollectibles wanted more but lowered me down saying the card wasn’t gradeable because of a lip on the card. Needed money at the time for expenses not mad about then transaction more upset he lied to my face
Love the content AGAIN. Waiting for the next one. Have a great show.
Thanks Tim!
Love your content keep going
Thanks 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Ryan's face when dude on the phone said $100 per showcase to rent was painful. Ryan was like here take the $1400 and dont count it before I kick your ass.
Na lol i needed them. Tbh wasn’t mad at all
@@cardcollector2 When the hobby eventually has a hall of fame to honor it's best collectors/most influential people you'll get in on the 1st ballot for sure. The amount of lives you've positively impacted is nothinh short of remarkable. Kudos to you and your team!
@@jonnyplastic Means a ton, John. Appreciate such kind remarks about our team. Thanks brother!
Aye! That 1400 deal you got for 1100 was bought from my LCS owner in California!
Let’s go 💪🏽
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🔥🔥
I love the quick $11k deal pretty much as soon as you got there. Haha
Gotta start the week off right!
$1400 off the bat in the hole for showcases?? That is so crazy! $100 to RENT ONE Showcase?? You can buy NEW ones forr LESS than $100 each! Man, The National is scamming yaw! I would of just bought 14 new cases and then sell them off to the public for $50-75 at end of show! They would have sold too!
Nice
14 bills 💸 just to rent the showcases. Damn, this National gonna make it rain 💰
Lol had to have em
How am I supposed to watch your What Not and this video at the same time???? Lol
Lol i appreciate you trying 😅
that little dude in the warriors hoodie was in everyone's video, he is the future of the hobby, :)
Agreed!
Wow new intro
W
The new intro 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Really appreciate the feedback!
Go bucks!
Yes sir!
Didn’t get a chance to talk to you Ryan but I did with your wife at the booth and she is so nice and sweet. Thanks for the free shirt and items
Thanks so much, James!
Do you guys do much hockey? Or mostly jackets stuff?
Very little. Here and there mostly
$100 a case doesn't sound cheap!
I know right. You can literally buy them for under $150. Who ever is renting them is the real winner of this show.
That's literally a rip off but ya when your not prepared that's what you pay haha.
Ryan's face when they said $100 per showcase to rent & the way he handed over the $1400....dude was not happy at all.
Would cost you more to transport it back and forth if you're not local or driving with excess space. The cost of convenience, especially at Nationals.
This ^^ takes up way too much space to drive. Would have required a 4th car. Easier to rent there
Do you know where he had those custom cards made??
They were a gift, but will try to find out
Yall see who they asking advice from my boy NATE
Nate the 🐐
Hi
Regina at 3:37
💀🤣
May as well just gave the guy a $1000 card for the showcases
First comment love the vids
Thanks 😀🙏🏼
What was the card he sold for 11K?
Mac NT RPA
All that planning and you forget all your showcases? That takes up some room. How do you miss that? Not trying to be rude at all just sound like a crazy thing to forget
We didn’t bring them, we were going to rent them off someone who we had miscommunication with about that. We never bring them though, they take up way too much space in a car
@@cardcollector2 That makes sense. I thought you meant you completely forgot them
cheap slabs are always the play
Agreed. Always liquid
$1400 for showcases sheesh
Yep. Had to. Not the worst price for 5 days worth of renting
Sell any Josh Allens??
A BUNCH!
Who bought the card for $11k?
Card vault
$1400 to rent display cases for a few days? Wow what a rip off. This hobby is absurd with draining money. Tables were a few grand or more.
Lol the guy who sold the shovels to the people during the gold rush did very well😂😂 seems to be the same case
Great point. Don’t these cost about $100
Supply & demand. Buying them and transporting them is way more work. Tbh will gladly pay $100 and feel good about it. We had them for 5 days. That’s $20 per day per showcase.
@@cardcollector2 oh $20 per day after you break down the math is fair.
