One more organ donation was done from Surat through Donate Life from INS Hospital.

On the holy day of Mahashivratri, USA citizen NRI Suresh Motiram Patel age 68 Liver and Corneas had been donated from INS Hospital Surat through Donate Life giving new lease of life and vision to three persons.
Along with this donations till date Donate Life has successfully contributed to donation of 1208 organs and tissue with 494 Kidney, 214 Liver, 50 Heart, 46 Lungs, 8 Pancreas, 1 Intestine, 4 Hands and 391 Corneas giving new lease of life and vision to 1109 organ failure patients in our country and globe.
We salute the family of Suresh Motiram Patel , for full-filling the wish of Suresh of organ donation when declared brain dead.
Liver transplantation was done at K.D. Hospital Ahmedabad.
Corneas were donated to Lokdrashti Chakshu Bank.
We are very much thankful to Doctors and Management of INS Hospital Surat for their wholehearted support to this noble cause.
Special thanks to Surat City Police for providing Green Corridor. Till date Surat City Police provided 114 Green Corridor.
