Hey, I have 17 pairs of finches and I want to give them some sprout seeds from time to time. So, I was thinking what seed mix should I use for the sprout mix and in what quantities. I have Canary seed, Yellow Millet, White Millet, Foxtail Millet and Proso Millet on hand. So, should I just mix these and use them or should I use some of these and other seeds? Also what ratio should I use the seeds in?
I recently just got a fire canary 7 month old male and I'm a newbie to bird keeping. I just subscribed to your channel looking for good housekeeping and feeding care for my canary. Can I ask you for a recommendation of a really good quality seed mix I can give my boy. Looking forward to watching many more videos.
Very much depends where you are in the world, I use deli nature 55 mix which is clean. You want your seed to be as dust free as possible and not over loaded with rapeseed’s
