David great season for you I tohad good season48 youngsters out of 6hen Razas hope there will be some good ones amongst them the natives was a bit dissapointing got 13 greenies out of 2 pair brown redpolls 1 full round all dead in shell last 2 rounds all clear Sib bullys round 1 full dead in shell no more eggs from them after. No mules this year thats birds for you
Sorry about the hen loss, very good cock bird look after him, give him some peas. I take them out the freezer evening and feed them 3 each in the morning.Nice egg mixture any left over for me.
Thank you for the insights on your colour feeding etc. I lost a hen bengalese earlier with 7 newly hatched young, the cock bird feed and raised them all as did your bird, amazing how they work hard. How do you manage when you take a holiday?

I know in advance when and where i go on holidays so i can then adjust the birds breeding season to suit.
