    As someone growing up with homemade everything, I extremely appreciate your videos. Especially the ones on what you grow. Horticulture is a big thing I studied, worked and lived with for years when I was growing up.
    The reason we say, "Nothing tastes like homemade" is because not only is it better, but you'll feel much better about it, proud of yourself to bring smiles to someone else and you can tell the love that was put into something.
    Recently I made 150 chocken eggrolls with my mom (sweet Khmer lady) and we only spent $27.
    We saved ourselves $100s doing it homemade, but biggest thing of all was the bonding experience that my daughter, myself, my wife and my mom all had together.
    Many blessings to you and your family

    • @Darkstar12p
      @Darkstar12p Před 6 měsíci +3

      @@KyaPataKya One can always make time. It is a matter of choice. You choose what you do. There is always time to feed yourself or others if you are needed to do so, there should never be an excuse for ones survival or health. I'm not saying someone has to be tip top shape or has to prepare everything themselves.
      There's another saying I like, "Life is what you make it"
      While that does hold true to some degree, there are instances where others legitimately do not have the time for meal preparation due to work, or even service men & women. If you have money to spend then yes by all means you can spend it. However for the eggrolls I made with my family, you can freeze some and cook some. It's about 1 hour prep & cook if you did it solo. Which gives you 150 eggrolls.
      The thing with time is preparation. Just because you have a lot of money doesn't mean you shouldn't prepare things yourself. Make things yourself, save, invest, grow and thrive. If you have a lot of money and splurge, just think how much more money you could have with a little more effort for other or new things you wouldn't have otherwise done.
      There is one currency that is universal. That is time. You 100% have to make time for yourself, physically & mentally.
      Other than that, I'd shop around personally and see what are good products or products you want to stay away from

    Fair warning for everyone in the comments. Agave syrup is sweeter than sugar. Do not add as much agave as you would sugar. Try a third the amount to taste test and slowly add more until you like it. It is also high in fructose so if you personally have issues with fructose try tree syrups instead.

      The most commercially available tree syrup is maple syrup. But if you are up for a bit of work tapping trees theres quite a few trees with edible sap. If interested I highly recommend looking up the trees most readily available to you. Just avoid trees in areas of high pollution (industrial areas, chemical spills, etc)

      @@nikkismith6106it’s not processed sugar there’s a huge difference between natural untouched sugar such as maple syrup that comes from the tree and doesn’t get anything added to it. Compared to something such a corn syrup where they have to extract hundreds or thousands of corn to get a good amount of syrup. That’s so concentrated it’s like your body is eating the sugar of hundreds of corn. Your body doesn’t know what the hell is going on causing inflammation and overall obesity later on for most people. Natural sugars like agave or others are just processed much better by your body and won’t lead to all the fat gain or other issues.

White sugar is pure sucrose which is molecular bond between fructose and glucose. Agave syrups soluble solids are about 80% fructose and the rest is a mix of glucose, sucrose and non sugar solids. Maple syrups sugar content is almost entirely sucrose according to the usda, but it has considerable amounts of micronutrients. Like calcium and potassium. The point of all this is that the different sugars have different glycemic index ratings and nutritional value
